Recently I submitted a ticket to crewbux letting them know that my fiance could not make an account because it says we have the same IP address. However, we have two separate computers, and I do not see where we could have the same IP. They replied to me, simply, and asked for my IP address. Of course I am not going to share with them this information, but I was wondering if anyone would? How do you feel about this? Would you advise anyone to do this? Well I know crewbux is trusted, but that's for payout, I won't even think of trusting them with my IP. I appreciate you for reading this and hope that you will read thoroughly and respond just in kind. Have a wonderfully lovely day.

well, they have your IP address anyways, they probably just want to verify it to maybe resolve your problem of 2 computers with the same IP. i have a forum on my website and i can access anyone registered there IP address. that's how forums ban people and you can't re-register with a different name. so i'm sure CrewBux as access to all it's members IP addresses. anytime i've had a problem with CrewBux and put in a support ticket, they usually resolve the problem within a couple of hours.....some sites don't even respond to you. anyways, good luck, i hope you and your fiance can both use CrewBux.....it's a GREAT site!

sconi is a combination of my name: Scott and my girlfriends name: Monica. we won a stuffed bear out of one of those claw machines, and she named it sconibear. so i just started using it as a username and kind of as a trademark for my online activities.

That is very adorable, I hope that you are doing well in your relationship! The only thing I can say about my username is that it was inspired by my fiance, lol!

The fact that they should have my IP address already logged had crossed my mind, and I assume that you may be right that they were wanting verification. It's just the way they responded to me was short, although they may be from a different country. Anyway I do appreciate your response to me, have a wonderful day sconibear! May I ask what sconi is?

Have you tried asking the same question on the forum at Crewbux? Maybe there are some other members that have, or have had in the past, your very same problem. Hope this helps and keep us informed! Happy posting!

I hadn't actually thought about that but that is a good idea. I think I will go and post a thread there, to see if anyone has also had this problem. I wonder if anyone here has? Anyway I do appreciate the response!

I don't know how well you are with computers, and I am no expert myself, but I think it depends a bit on whether you use the same internet connection too. I know on some sites they allow you to have two accounts in the same household if it has two different internet connections. What I would do is check what IP address you have got, and then his, and if it is the same you should release the IP and request a new one on his computer. If yours get changed too you know that you have the same IP address. If not, then you should have different ones and be able to start a new account. You might have to do that every time he wants to log in to that account though, but I am not sure. And, about giving out IP-address, I think they log that anyway, so they can only see your, and everyone elses IP-addresses. They only need yours to be able to separate it and look at it. I wouldn't worry about giving it, but that is just my opinion.

That thought did occur to me while I was posting this discussion actually. I am not exactly sure of that myself, but I think it also depends on the ISP and how you are connecting (through router or through dsl box) I am connected through a dsl box so that may very well be the case. In any course, I do believe everyone's given me great advice so far! I appreciate your own advice! I may very well end up giving them the ISP but I am not to concerned because it's only one bux site! I hope your having a grand day!
