Hello all, I am a woman that wears plus size clothing. In most areas, plus size is size 14 adn up. I am much bigger than a size 14. I know Lane Bryant carries sizes up to a 26 or a 28 and some of their clothes work fine for me, but not many. I have bought from Walmart, and Fashion Bug as well. Is there anywhere else that you know that sells them, and what is your favorite store to shop for plus size apparel? Do you ever shop at online stores for your plus size clothes?

Not a big selection of stores in my area; but, locally I get my plus size clothes at JC Penney, WalMart, KMart, and the local thrift stores. I also buy some on ebay - most of the sellers will give the clothing measurements; so, even if the sizes vary a little from one manufacturer to another you can make sure it fits before you buy.

Well, for the most part I am right on the verge of needing either Plus Size or regular size for clothes depending on the style and make on them. I know that for the most part I usually will get my clothes from places like Cold Water Creek, Macy's, Jc Penneys and Lane Bryant. I find the more expensive stores like these fit way better than WalMart and usually better quality, etc. as well. But I have shopped online from time to time and gotten some Great online deals, and I think if you are into Bargains Blair.com could be one of your better places to consider for sure.

Thank you for your reply...I had not realized that Penneys carried larger sizes.

I buy most of my clothes from Addition-Elle that has stores in Canada and in the United states. We also have Penningtons, but Penningtons are more designed for women who have almost no waistline, while Addition-Elle goes from regular size, that is 16 to 28 or so and also carries the large petite sizes and is designed for the women who gained weight all over and still has her shape. I have not shopped at any online stores, because I want to try on the clothes first.

Hey Becky. I buy 99.9% of my clothes from Woman Within and Roaman's both online. I am 5' 10" and wear plus size and they are the only ones that I can find that have pants long enough to fit (I have a 36" inseam). They are awesome stores with great selections and if you go to Ebates first before ordering from them, you can get money back. For example, if you order from Roaman's you get 3% cash back and Woman Within you also get 3% back. I do most of my shopping online and I have made back $156.88 back so far through Ebates. I will send you the links to your yahoo mail.

Congrats on the weightloss. Thanks fro the stores too, i dont care for Catherines as the styles they carry in my area are not really what i care for. I have never heard of CJ Banks, and i didnt know TJ Max had plus size..lol so i will look into those..thanks again and good luck on your continued weight loss.
