Mylot experiment test results: does rating people increase your earnings?

To make sure that nothing else would have increased my earnings I didn't reply, post photo's or do anything else. I only rated about 450 responses and discussions and did nothing else on mylot. Conclusion: I made $0.00 today. Perhaps it does increase your earnings if you actually do posting at the same time but it doesn't earn you anything if you aren't also posting responses or discussions. This experiment is after an idea of beautyqueen26, thanks!

I have also done this experiment and also gained nothing from it. (Except learning the fact that we don't earn from rating.) But I think rating is something that is related to earning. I think you don't earn from rating someone, but if somebody rates your posts, it would have an effect to your earning. Have a nice day!

Sounds fair, I have no clue how we can see if that works but it sounds like another fun experiment . Thank you for adding to the discussion!

I don't think there is a way to validate it. But here's something I have been thinking of: the discussions in the "today's top discussions" and "hot discussions" are the discussions which are highly rated, and when I found my discussions in those pages, it seems I earn a lot more. so I think, when your discussion is rated more, you earn more.

That's very interesting. I do rate good discussion every day. On top of that, I continue with posting my replies. Are you planning on another experiment?

If I find something interesting to do the experiment on I surely will! . Ideas are welcome!
