would you know if God has shortened the days?

in the bible it says that God will shorten the days and the nights by a third. and if this does happen do you think you would know?
i bring this up because i was watching a video from a site called endtime.com and the pastor has mentioned that it is quit possible that the days could already be shorten hence insteins theory of relativity.
if God is on a different time frame than us, and he speeds it up we wouldn't know becasue we are here. what do you think? if the days are shortened as well as the nights would you know?
i personally believe this to be true. that time is winding down for us and that all is about to be revealed to us. I believe that within the next few years we will see some of the most pivital perdictions that the bible has given us.
some of us many think that the day just doesnt seem as long because we fill our lives up with things that have to be done with things that we want to do. and we find that we just dont have the time any more. but i think alot of it has to deal with the fact that time has been shortened. so where am i wrong on this? what is the theory of relativity? and who's to say it hasnt already happened?

Does anyone remember the part about man is not supposed to try to predict the end of time? If in fact there is going to be an end as the christians think then they need to just always be on their best behavior and stop worrying about it so much. If it happens it happens. Can you stop Hashem's will? No! Can you change those around you? No! Can you change the world? No! So the best you can hope for is to be as prepared yourself as possible! You have only yourself to be accountable for.
I do not believe that this has anything to do with the Theory of Relativity. I do not think that Einstin had this in mind.

i was not trying to predict the end of the times. after all it says clearly no one knows not even the angles in heaven nor the son only God. but i was watching this clip and thought i would bring it to the table. as far as we know about einstiens theory of relativity, we wouldn't know it would effect us because we are experiencing it. the only way that we would know is if we were there with God when he did it.
and as eccesiastics say, all is meaningless and we are chasing the wind. i just wanted to see if anyone out there had any thoughts on the subject.

Very good rebuttal! I still do not think that it has anything to do with the theory of relativity. For one thing I think they are close to disproving it anyway. That is after all what theories are all about. They are scientific statements that they then go about trying to disprove in search of the real truth.
Someday we will know the truth. That day will come when we sit at the foot of ultimate knowledge....Hashem.

This is quite an interesting discussion you have brought up here and also something to ponder. I can't say that I have heard of the site called endtime.com but it sounds interesting to me.
It seems like a strange theory about the shortening of the days, however maybe it isn't so unbelievable.
Thank you for your insight on this. I can't say that I would be able to tell if the days were getting shorter or not.
