hello kitty or barbie?

When I was in my elementary and high school days, I really enjoyed collecting sanrio character items; keychains, stuff toys, stationaries, etc. I loved sanrio characters because they're so cute especially hello kitty. I also enjoyed watching Hello Kitty cartoon show on TV every weekend.
Now that I'm 37, I still like Hello Kitty (LOL), but not that much anymore. I like Barbie, but I don't collect them. I just love to watch Barbie's Fantasy 3D Movies/ TV Shows. I also like to visit sites where I can dress-up and makeover Barbie Dolls. I enjoy it a lot.
Do you like Hello Kitty or Barbie?

I used to collects Barbie dolls when I was little.. I always get a Barbie doll twice a year.. As a Birthday and Christmas present.. I fond of Barbie dolls since I was years old until I was 11 or 12.. And I still have those barbie dolls up to now.. I stocked them in one box.. and until now they're all still with me.. I want to donate it though..

I had barbies when I was younger I had the car and a swimming pool and a little house. I don't think I ever had anything that was Hello Kitty. My daughter had a shirt that was Hello Kitty but I don't think we have had anything else associtaed with her.

Hi there!
I had a barbie when I was young. I had the original barbie design from Matel (the company that produced the Barbie). I think it was in my generation when the company first brought barbie in the Philippines and the doll was so popular that time so I asked my mom to have one for my christmas gift. I also have different accessories and have always loved dressing her up with my playmates. I still have her intact but I don't play with her anymore. I just have no time but I always check her out if nothing is missing or the rats might have eaten her lol 
.
Now that I'm older I collect hello kitties too! They're really cute. I have all the designs from McDonald's. I think it was from their happy meal. I also have figurines, plates and glasses and even a readio with hello kitties on it. I have them on display in my living room for everyone to see. Sometimes my friends give me hello kitties for gifts too.

Sorry to say that I never liked hello kitty before. I wasn't a girly girl and did not like the color pink. But I did play with barbies when I was 4 to 6 years old. I had the Barbie doll house, I had the Alladin and Jasmine barbie dolls. I even had a headless Cinderella barbie doll. Now I still do look at the Barbie Dolls in the stores. Their costumes just got better and better. But the price is a bit high for me to be collecting them.
