Santol is still Santol in English

hahahhaha.... this fruit is great... i am just increasing my vocabulary on English words for the local fruits that we have in the Philippines... LOL... i find it surprising that Santol is Santol because others have English equivalent.. hope you find this interesting too.

hi there... i don't know if it's included in the dictionary... because i just came across it last night through the blog of hotel dot com's list of 10 must-eat exotic fruits and guess what we have 8 of them... LOL... i have another post regarding the list... if you would like to read about it,i mean. thanks for the reply

soy sauce? whoah! it's the first time i heard santol with soy sauce becoz i haven't tried it. uhm how does it taste? i'll try it later this day. how does that taste? i eat it with vinegar and salt or just plain salt sometimes..

i like it with soy sauce... LOL... tell me how do you find it? i mean with soy sauce...at home, they sometimes make a candy out of it or jam... yum! sweet and soury perfection!

Wow! that's very interesting, I've checked wiki and its there, I thought this was an original Philippine fruit but its not, our asian neighbors has it too and its roots came from indochina. I learned something new today, thanks Shiloh for sharing this.

Now I know what Santol is in English. LOL. We have 10 trees of it here and love eating the fruit and I don't even know what is the English term of it. LOL. Thanks for letting us know shiloh. Keep posting. HUGZ!
