"Hate Thy Neighbor"

I hate our neighbor...You want to know why?I own 2 persian cats and they are an indoor cats.My boyfriend and I talk to our cats.And me personally treats my cats like they are my children.
Our neighbor has a pet kitty and it's just a local kitty or a stray kitten.I hate our neighbor so much.The kitten is so unlucky to be owned by an unresponsible pet owner.They let their kitty stay outside the laundry area.I know that because we live at the 2nd floor with 2 bedrooms.From our kitchen I could hear the kitty meows and it's annoying me.It's rainy season here in our country and probably the tonsil of the kitty is already swollen from meowing because the kitty is so wet from the rain and probably feeling cold..obviously bec. when I open our kitchen window I could peek at my neighbors laundry area.
I have the heart and passion for cats.It hurts me when I hear the cat meowing from being wet and feeling cold from the rain and this poor kittys owner didn't even bother to let him in the house for a good "shelter".sigh..Such a bad pet owner.
My pets are lucky to have me as their "mom" and I love them so much.I will still treat the cat with love and care even if it's a local stray cat.Too bad I can't get that stray kitty bec. having 2 persians is already a big responsibility.
I can still hear the kitty meowing while I am making this discussion and it's really raining hard here.Poor little kitty..:c

It is a shame that people can be so ignorant. I would call the police. Where I live they will go to the scene and investigate it.
There was a woman who owned 2 dogs across the street from me. The police were asking me about her one day because one of them was losing fur and they thought it needed medical attention. She walked the dogs at least 4 times a day. But the dog did need some cream or something for its dry sky and lost fur.

There's an organization here in our country who adopts stray cats and they take care of the stray cats.Until this morning I am still hearing the kitty meow.I don't know..maybe the kitty is already hungry or probably sick and not feeling good.It's just so sad that there are people who wants to own a pet and yet they can't handle and take care of their pet.sigh. :c

Hi pinks. Poor kitty. I loved cats, I have a Siamese cat before and I gave him to my best friend. I loved takig cared of pets, by now I have 2 Labradors that's why I can't afford to get a cat. One day while walking and going to a bake shop I saw a 3 kittens crying and meowing in the streets. I pity them, I want them to bring home but I can't because my dogs really hates cat. I remember when my cousin brought a kitten at home, my dogs want it to kill and like want to swallow it as a whole, that's why my Aunt bring it back to the streets. Sigh

It just really annoys me hear the kitten cry.It was raining really hard lastnight and would you believe the cat has been crying until I can't remember what time I slept lastnight.If I could just keep the cat I would gladly do that but my 2 persians I am sure they are not ready for a new pet pal.
Those people don't use their heads.They just don't care with the kitty.

That is how it has become in my life. My next door neighbors are jerks, and the neighbors next to my boyfriend's place are even bigger jerks. Today, we just got into a huge fight with one of my boyfriend's neighbors, but not because we wanted to. The neighbor next door barge into his apartment and began to snap at all of us.

No, this neighbor slandered me. I did fight with a few neighbors before on the treatment of their animals.

Good for you! You're such a good person and your "children" are lucky to have you as their "mom". What do you think should be done about that bad neighbor?

That is sooo terrible!! People like them do not deserve to have pets!
I know my heart would break if my neighbor's were leaving their kitten ouside, all wet and cold. The constant meowing would drive me nuts and I'd want to go down and pick up the kitty, dry him off and bring him inside my place for awhile.

You know what I ran out of a right word to describe my neighbors bad treatment for the kitty until I read your reply..."deserve" is the right word...I was angry when I created the discussion and I am having a hard time looking for a right term to describe our neighbor.
You are right...they don't deserve to have pets..
They just adopt that kitty so that a pet will be eating their leftover foods.Owning a pet doesn't mean just feeding them...you need to take care of them and don't treat them like others.
I am so sorry to bad mouth on my neighbor...but being irresponsible for her children actually describes how irresponsible she is as a pet owner..she can't even take care of her children.I am really sorry for being nasty here.I am just suppressing my emotions here about hearing that kitty suffer.But if I lose my patience...I'll go down and get their kitty and migrate her some other place.I guess somebody out there will be kind enough to take care of the kitty.
At least I know that even if we have a lot of stray kittens in the neighborhood I know those kitty can look for food and find shelter like under a car or go to some peoples house just to stay and have themselves safe for the meantime...
I didn't mean to be mean with my neighbor but I am just angry how they treat the kitty.Would you believe I hugged my garfield and fifi and tell them that they are so lucky that they are loved by me and I talk to them and tells them that they are like my children.Oh my gosh...sigh..

I think he had better not keep any pets because he just cannot cope with the care for the kittens-Is there any law in your country that penalizes brutality against animals? I suggest he faces the law

We have but unlike in the US they are really concern about the health and the welfare of all the animals.Too bad that...the kitty doesn't live in the US.Probably he will be well taken care of if he lives in the US.Too bad I can't have him bec. my Garfield is a jealous cat and my fifi a female cat is so naughty and such a snobbish cat.I don't think that cat will like to stay with us.Though there are times I see the kitty on my doorsteps and if I stare at his eyes..as if he is talking to me and begging for me to get him.

I can't stand people who do not know how to take care o their pets. My sister rescues animals in need, and were this kity to e in her buildin, she'd take it in herself, and report the neglectful neighbour to the animal welare oard, to see that this kind of treament does not continue. People like your neighbour don't deserve to have pets!
