Hello again to all my Friends

Hi everybody, I have really missed you all. For the past year, I have been really busy trying to sell my house and I am very happy to report that it has now been sold. I have just this weekend moved into my new home and I got my broadband connected today. I have a mountain of boxes to sort through in order to find my crockery, cookware etc. but as soon as that's finished, I will be back here on myLot and I'm really looking forward to it. In the meantime, a big "thank you" to all my friends here on myLot. It was great to read all your messages today and I am very moved that so many people were thinking of me. Hope to talk to you all again very soon and once again, "Thank you and God Bless."

Welcome back to mylot. I hope that you are feeling more settled in your new home and will be able to post more interesting threads here. I have been there in the recent years and moving house is one of the most stressful things in life. I still have things in boxes after four years that we have moved house.

Well ronaldinu, I guess you will be in for a surprise when you open your boxes. I had unopened boxes from the time I moved into the house which I just sold. I lost my list of what was in the boxes (and I was so organised!) so now I just have to open every one of them. I have put a lot of stuff on the recyle sites over the last couple of weeks and I hope to get rid of a lot more stuff this week. The thing is, according as I get rid of stuff, I go out and buy some more. It is really a vicious circle.

Sorry, I'm a bit late with my response. Nevertheless I'm glad to hear from you again, I thought you might not come back.
Congrats on selling your house, I don't know what the situation is like in the US, over here in Spain it has become increasingly difficult to sell or even rent property. Anyway, it's good news that you sold your place.
Looking forward to seeing you here again once you've finished putting everything in it's place. I don't envy you for that, lol.

Hi Dana, I can't believe that is is now four weeks since I posted this discussion. Time just seems to fly these days. As for selling houses here in Ireland, well I am now living beside a deserted building site. The builder will only build to order. Yes, we were very lucky to have sold our house but we lost a lot on money because we had to reduce the price. However, we are very happy in our new house and I don't mind all the unpacking...it's like opening Christmas presents because quite a lot of the boxes were never opened when we moved into our last house. Great to have you back, Alexandria. My attendance has been sporadic at best over the last year and I miss the friends from back in the day. It's always good to see one of them come back. Hope you get situated and start some good discussions soon.

Hi irisheyes. It's great to be back even if it is only for a few minutes every day. Hopefully when I have everything sorted and I can find the salt cellar and other things, I will have more time to spend on myLot. In the meantime, don't go away. I will be back.

Oh so nice to see you back. You are one friend that I have been missing. When people talk about going in to delete old friends who have gone inactive, I just look at your avatar, and tell myself that my old friend will be back, no need to delete her. I am so glad that your house sold.

Thank you Gertie. It's so nice to hear from old friends again. Still haven't got a lot of time with trying to sort the house out but it is all beginning to come together. Hope to be spending a lot more time here on myLot now that the worse is over. Talk to you soon.
