can't live without my cellphone, car keys and water. cellphone- because all my contact information was stored there and it's handy. i don't have to look for a pay phone for me to be able to make the call.plus it's always ready for emergency purposes. but of course! make sure the battery was charged. car keys- can't live without my car keys because i can longer travel anytime and i feel more secure riding and driving myself. water- i love drinking water now than soda or any carbonated drinks available. this for me is a good start since i don't have to be watchful with my health anymore since water is natural and safe to drink.

Besides the basics like food clothing, shelter etc. I think I can't spend a day without my phone too because I use it to communicate with people especially my girlfriend. The second one is my deck of cards because I'm a magician. The third is money of course we need it to buy stuff

If we're exclusing obvious necessities like food and sleep... The internet Coffee Picking a third one is hard... I could say my cats, because if I go somewhere overnight even I miss them. Or it could be TV, but really I think I COULD deal without it for a day. I know - electricity! I go crazy if there's a power outage for an hour. So that's it, internet, coffee, electricity.

I would say my bible, my computer, and the television. I read my bible as it is the word of God, I use my computer for writing, and also surfing and myLotting, and to make money. I use the television for the news and I love the old movies, plus there is a lot of information and I happen to be more of a visual person. I remember what I hear and see more than what I write down. The other things like necessities like food, water, clothes, and shelter everyone needs so listing them is a no brainer. I guess you were talking about specific cases.

Hi despompa, I have spent a lot of years without many of today's "necessities", but now I am hooked along with everyone else. I wouldn't want to spend a day without a phone of some kind, the Internet, or my cats. Blessings.

I would say the three things for my would be My phone - so I can contact friends and family. I enjoy a nice natter with my family and friends. The internet - I enjoy spending my day off int eh world of the internet so would be lost with out it. Mind you I havent been able to get access to the internet for 4 days so it was very frustrating watching my inbox mount up and not able to see them!! Thirdly I would say my house keys so that I can get access to food, drink and my comfy bed!!!

hmmm... that's a good question... I'd have to say... considering this is 1 day, & 1 day only... the next day would be back to normal & I could have it "all" 1) my cell phone - I call & text people all day... if I have that then I can go a day without my computer even tho I dont have internet on my cell... 2) my books - I'm an avid reader... for 1 day only I'd love to spend ALL day in bed with books... & if that happened, I wouldn't even need #1... only books, bed, & nutrition 3) cable tv - for when I want to let the tv be my imagination LOL... That's only for one day & then the next day, I'd wake up & my beautiful husband & children will be there & I'll be refreshed & relaxed that their craziness will not effect me LOL

If you are not including the basics the it would be a different answer because I would have to say food, clothing & shelter. Those are the most important things to have or the rest don't matter. So I'm going to assume that when you were making your choices you took that into consideration. So my 3 choices would be my cats, computer and phone. Unless I need to trade one of those things in for money???

bank card or credit card-- without them, i dare not go any department store. cellphone--- forget it at home, i feel a thousand and one people are looking for me though my cell may not ring even once in a day. computer/ internet--- without the access to internet, i feel like confined to a narrow space all alone.

I would have to say three things I would need to get me through my day would have to be bottled water, my cell phone and lip balm. If I had at least these three things I could be okay for a day. I would need the water to quench my thirst, I would need my cell phone to keep in touch with my loved ones, especially my children and I would need my lip balm because I get chapped lips.

I can't live without my cell phone, computer and tv. Because those are the things i commonly use in a day. It gives me entertainment, it makes me updated, and i learn a lot from it. I am into continuous learning. Because I don't want to become useless someday.

First of all, my children. I can't live without them. They are not things, but I really need to put them on my list. Second it would be my computer + internet. I can't go a day without working on the computer. And third, that would be Coca-Cola, I really am an addict, but it's getting better since I have to loose weight. Before I drank 2 liters a day, now I only have one glass a day. It's getting better each time. Have a nice day

Electricity - there is so much that relies on electricity, that it is very hard to live without it. Water - it is an essential for bathing, cooking, drinking. Food - again an essential. I have to eat! Thats pretty much it!

1) Coffee, I cannot go without my java. It's a must!! 2) Cellphone - only phone available, since I have no home phone no more. 3) Car keys - must have transportation to & from work & wherever else I need to go.
