The latest animation that I've seen and enjoyed is Kung Fu Panda. Its about this chubby panda who must discover his destiny as a great warrior. With voices of Jack Black, Dustin Hoffman, Jackie Chan, etc, its a visual treat while tickling your funny bone. Other favorites includes Finding Nemo and MOnster's Inc. These two are animation that I could watch over and over.

Some amazing older movies to look for are:The Last Unicorn - This movie is amazing for all ages, with a real world like storyline. Fully hand drawn. The Lord of the Rings - This movie, I wish they had done the full set. The animations are INCREDIBLE in it. It only covers the first book, but it's really well done, and I have never seen any animation like it. G.I. Joe movie - I'm not talking about Valor vs Venom, which really wasn't all that great. I mean the old 80s movie if you can find it. Story's good, and the animations are all hand drawn. The Black Cauldron - I only wish Disney had managed to do the other 4 books in the set, as this one was quite true to the story in the novel. Some newer ones:Dragon World - This one is a documentary type movie on dragons, but the CGI is simply incredible. If you like fantasy movies, I would say get ahold of this one and watch it, though it's more geared towards older viewers. Dragons of Fire and Ice - Good for kids, as it's based on the toy series of the same name. Although I'm an adult, and I enjoyed it.

I wrote an article on Helium titled Top Animation Movies and What Makes Them Special. I run down a list of my top ten favorite animation movies. One of my favorites is the Bee Movie. I absolutely love this movie and its message. Little known to people today is that we are in danger of losing the bee colonies in North America. CCD or Colony Collapse Disorder is causing colonies of bees across America to disband and die. While a cause has not been found the effects will prove devastating if it continues. To view the other movies on my list check out this article. http://www.helium.com/items/1093461-best-animation-movies Enjoy!

I love animated movies, especially 3-D. My favorite movie by far is The Incredibles. It's a Disney-Pixar movie...which are my favorites.
