Is God Always Present When We Are Lonely?

When we lost hope and feel alone and abandoned, we can take comfort in God's promises to deliver us from isolation and pain. I truly believe that God is always with us--in our joy and in our pain, in all our good times and mostly, during our bad times. His steadfast love and faithfulness are promises we can cling to, promises that has been bringing me joy when I faced loneliness--this should also apply to everyone.
Sometimes in our lives, loneliness overtakes us and we tend to believe that God just left us alone in the journey. We need to remember that we are not alone, God has promised to be with us that He will never forsake us.
The journey of life can sometimes be troubling. We often stumble and have difficulty following in God's footsteps and many times we may feel alone in this large world. BUT we must never doubt God's presence within us because he will never let us down.He promises His strength, His peace and His comfort. W hen it seems that life is whirling out of control, we can take in the comfort of God's sovereignty and power; all we need to do is to come to Him with our seeking hearts.
Is God always present when we are lonely? Of course, He is!

Oh yes, God is always present when we need him the most, he is a on time God..The love the "Footprints of Jesus" when you see one set of prints he carried us.I am 56 years old, have been disabled for over 22 years.My life has been a disaster. I have had surgury after surgury, there were a few that they thought I would not survive, but through it all, the lord was by my side.I have gone from having a good job making good money to living on social security disability.There are so many things that I can no longer do for myself.I have to lean and depend on the Lord. He supplys my every need. But no matter where I am I can always talk to God, he is always there to comfort me. at times he is the only friend I have in the world.We are never alone as long as we have God on our side. When I was on that operating table, he was right there with me.In my hospital room when I had no visiters he was there.He will never leave you or forsake you..

I don't like to use the word god, I call it the higher being. To me the higher being is nothing but energy and this energy is with me wherever I go. It makes sense if you think about it. Everything is energy nothing stops moving not even time, so yes, the higher being is with me all the time.

I think that no matter how we feel God is always there. When we are lonely and depressed God is there waiting to hold us and give us the comfort that we need, we need to seek him in those times to find the comfort he gives. Whenever I feel lonely I listen to my worship cds and read my Bible or write in my prayer journal. That always helps me feel closer to God and less lonely.

In my life, so many instances i could feel the presence of God. Glory to God. when thinking about his love and mercy, mine eyes have filled with tears. Also the verses are strengthens me in trouble.He appoints the servants of God when we are in trouble.

I do know that no matter what we are going through God is always with us. Through the good times and the bad times. When we're in a group setting or even when we are feeling lonely.
I do know one thing, remembering what God had told us a promise that he made to us.
I will never leave you nore forsake you.
This is something that I hold up to God every day when I need him and when I don't.

Hi,
God is always with us.We tend to see him only we are Alone and depressed.99% of us do not feel his presence if we are happy,healthy and energetic.You can see you god,hear his speech if you sit simply for 15 min concentrating on nothing.

I fully agree with you and I feel he is omnipresent. Whenever there is a crisis he sends someone to help me out and get through the situation and not even he has failed to rescue me from desperate situations. If we go by the scriptures he resides very much some where inside us that is why he always listen when we call him. The most important is faith and those who lack it are the only ones who say that there is no God, but my 44 years of life experience says that he is there in all of us.
