I saw on television few days ago about people who are selling their eyes, kidney, teeth, hair, etc just to earn a living. It is a documentary story. And I really feel sorry for those people who are putting themselves in danger. Just to earn money.
Will you do the same?

If I naturally lost a teeth, I would be happy to sell it but not any other of those you mentioned. Especially not my EYES! That's horrible!

I'd rather sell it than let others take it from me and profit. Ohh I know you've heard about that too, the white van whose abducting people and removing the body parts...
Seriously though it's a really hard fact to face, and it's common here in the Philippines. I don't know, but the real issue here is the health care. The government is providing little for the welfare of the people, and sadly people themselves put their lives in danger, tolerating this kind of trades.
I won't do the same, because for me health is wealth. I just hope the government treasure that as well.
I do feel sorry for them, and those kinds of situations always makes me feel how blessed I am. I just wish I could help, not just in those situations, but for the whole welfare of the country as well.

I wouldn't be against selling something that your body replaces like blood plasma... But that is ridiculous! But then again, some people really are forced into situations where I guess this becomes reasonable compared to some of their alternatives... Sad state of the world we live in.
