ITS GREAT! try making your Nachos with Dorito chips instead! This idea came from a church event I attended. They were called "walk away tacos" they put the cheese, meat, lettuce, tomato, and everything in a dorito bag and you walk away with it. we do this at home now but of course put it on our plate. Play around with all the flavors! Nacho cheesier is still our favorite or the Salsa Verde!

I have never made nachos with Doritos before, but I can imagine it would be good. Just like regular nachos just a little bit cheesier. I sometimes use them crushed up over the top of a taco salad if I am out of plain chips.

Omg I love to make nachos with doritos. It's so delicious! It's sooo cheesy! I like to put a lot of cheese on, and it just tastes so good. Cheesy chips and cheesy cheese go together great.

Sounds like it would be too much cheese. Maybe sometime I will try it.

I've done that before, and I find that the original Nacho cheese works best, as well as the Cool Ranch flavor. It adds more flavor to an already tasty dish. I tried it one day because I was craving nachos really bad, and the only tortilla chips I had in the house was 2 bags of Doritos (orignal and cool ranch) so I combined the 2 flavors and prayed it would come out okay, and it really did. I haven't gone back to using plain tortilla chips ever since, unless I eat it at a mexican resturant
