Hey! I am ranked 62 on mylot.... Just wondered who is at No.1 on mylot.com interest.. So i clicked on mylot.com interest.. and then I clicked the profile of Rank No.1 on mylot.com in the leaderboards... He had no activity for last one year....he he... And how is he still at Rank No.1... Then I checked for Rank No.2... he also goes Missing... What the hell... Rank No.1 and 2 on mylot.com... are people who have left Mylot one year back...

Well congratulations you are ranked 15 your like a Mylot celebrity now :) I have no clue about the rating I think creating many discussions is probably giving better ratings than just responding since it's more likely to be read by many. Maybe those people created a lot of discussions that are still getting rated.. but don't know I think it seems a bit weird too.

Your Ratings and Ranks depend on how other mylotters rate your discussions, responses, comments and photos.. So you have to post quality posts... Then you are more likely to be rated more... Once you reach 100 posts you will be able to see your rating... So best of luck.... Keep posting on mylot.....^_^

I am now 96 in mylot. I am trying to improve it & make it under 10. I think its the no. of responses we make in discussions in the interest determines the ranking. How could the top rankers be missing for so long. Lets put them down by responding more.

Hey! I dont think the no of posts defines our rank in mylot.... It depends on how people rate you... [+] or [-].... So if we make good quality posts we will get a good rank... So responding more wont put them down... but quality posts will... Happy posting on mylot....^_^

I am guessing that the ranking in the interest leaderboards are not based on the number of posts or ratings. I think it is based on how many best responses we have gotten in a certain interest. So those who have ranked number 1 and 2 in the "mylot.com" interest should have worked hard in their time. I guess we should give them the right to be in the leaderboard even if they are not anymore. And them being not active is an advantage for us because it would now be easier to surpass them. Have a nice day!

and another example of the funky ways of Mylot... I really wonder about this place. I also wonder how you get those ranks and what do they mean? the amount of posts you have in the topic? the better ratings? god and mylot administrators may know.
