Do you feel safe where you live?

I used to until there was a shooting this week. How safe is your neibourhood?

im staying in an apartment and 6 years ago, i was robbed at knife point in my elevator. took weeks to recover. Im still staying here though, so far so good!

I am sorry to hear about what happened to you. I am glad that you are okay. It had to be a very scary time for you. You are definitely brave. hope they caught the person who did that to you.

Thank you for the well wishes. I've learned a lesson that very day, that you can plan on how to kick/slap/dodge the robber but when you really have a robber holding you at a knife point, you couldnt even move!!! LOL

Hi, my neibourhood is pretty sure, I never have any problems. I can tell the same thing about Italy, the country where I live.

I feel pretty safe where I live. I almost have to keep that mentality also, as my husband is gone during the week for work and I am at home alone with the kids. I have to be the "protector" during the week!

That's a big job. Now that my kids are grown they feel that they are the protectors. I'm always getting lectured about taking care when I go out. Being a good mom like you are will pay off in the end.

my city - my city
yes i am very much safe in my city as its very peaceful city ...and its a very beautiful city with rich cultural heritage..its a royal city with is glorious past...i love to stay here as its much safer comparing to other cities of the country... :)

It is really quiet where I live. It is such a small town so we really don't have problems of safety here.

I feel pretty safe where I live. :) It's a nice quiet, old neighborhood. Everyone keeps to themselves. We live right acress from a high school and it does get noisy during school hours but other than that... very quiet. I like it. We used to live in an apartment complex where there was 3 shootings while we lived there! LOL

We have 3 schools in our back yard so we are surrounded by noise during the school day but I've always felt safe until now. With 2 highschools side by side the rivalry is terrible lately. Teens don't seem to feel safe themselves unless they are in a gang.
