How many of you think that we should let our boyfriend to pay everything for us?

What is your opinions on this? Do you let your boyfriend to pay everything for you? Or you pay your own portion when both of you are going out for shopping? Normally what I do is I will pay some of my things when I am doing groceries with my boyfriend. My boyfriend needs to pay many bills every month. I really feel sorry if I still want him to pay for my things. What do you think? Do you think I am stupid? Please share with me,thanks.

I don't like to have my boyfriends pay for me, unless it's a special night out, like a special treat. But otherwise, I pay for my own things myself. We're equals in the relationship, we pay for our own things or we split the total 50/50. I would personally start to feel inferior if a man started paying for everything of mine. I'm an independent woman after all, I can support myself.

No I don't think your on the wrong on this at all. I know it makes me feel bad when someone has to pay for anything of min seeing I know I have the money and they have their own responsebilities bill wise to take care of. Once in a while if they really insisted then it might be ok but I would feel like I would owe them back in return. The situation varies really depending on the person's standpoint.
