It is not my cup of tea, no. But I can imagine that it is nice. I expect that my Nan will be watching that though, she loves things like that. I nearly had one of my sons in a choir not so long ago, he did not realise what it was and when the letter came home from school asked could he do it. I looked at him and said "yes if you want to". I thought to myself that he did not really know what he would be signing himself up to (hes only 8) and thought I might not tell him. But then, he cannot really sing so it would not have been fair to do that really so I told him and he quickly changed his mind.

My Mum used to take me to the ballet, I have seen both of those ballets. I went to see them in Manchester, they were both beautiful.

Hi ruby, I love listening to the choir too especially if I know the song..LOL! ANyway, I admire really the talents of some people for producing such great harmony for all the different types of voices.. In College before, it's one of the highligths of our December celebration and it's fun to compete with each department...I was just an audience..LOL! I can sing but it will break any glass! LOL!

Oh Che ,some of them were very good!but the competition goes on !but I love a good choir and even better a good choral work, the Messiah by Handel takes some beating!but years ago I was in a Choral society ,when i was about 15 -16..it was great fun..it was a massive choral group and we did all sorts of work. But im none too keen on the songs from the shows, they often bore me a little, but lol i must be in the minority,as the showa are very popular.

Hi ruby at one time I was in a choir and did solos or was one of the main singers as my voice is a mezzo soprano which means I can sing soprano as well as bass there aren't many that can but it was great in the choir as we travelled all over the place...your friend littleowl

Would you believe that I was a chorister in my youth Ruby. Well I was. I love devotional music and some choral stuff. However, I haven't watched that programme.

I think listening to any sort of group make music is a treat, because they're all so clever to be able to make music together. I've never seen the programme you're talking about, but they must all be pretty good to have made it as far as the TV show. The only time I don't like to listen to choirs is when they're full of those ladies (normally of a certain age!) who warble on the high notes.

Male voices ,it just has to be male, there is nothing like a male voice choir to make my hair stand up on the back of my neck.It is like injecting adrenalin into my body, its a thrill that cant be equalled.I did see a lot of the programme you are chatting about and yes it was so good,I liked the Men aloud, they were good fun, they did a small routine with each song they sang, the Bath choir were very good, and the gospel choirs would have been very hard to match.Music is an essential thing for my inner self.
