There is this saying, a friend in need is a friend indeed. How true is this saying. And how far can you stick your neck for your friend? Are you really dependable and can you die to protect the sanctity of your friendship?.Try to be honest with me when responding.

No way would I give up my life for a friend. You have to be a very special person, and friends somethings are wishy washy. Just loan them some money and see which direction that friendship will go. I put myself in a dangerous situation with a friend once. I had taken her home, and when she got out my car she was hit and mugged, she started out after the mugger, I followed her because she was my friend, we both could have set ourselves up to a bad situation. Years later she asked to borrow money, I gave it to her and have not heard from her in almost twenty years, so no I would not give up my life for a friend.

But remember not all friends are like that, may be you haven't met your own type of friend , keep an open mind and hope for the best.

i believe i am a good friend. I would do all that i can to help a friend in need but taking a bullet my not be one of those.... This is not primarily for my self. I have a husband who needs me & I support my parents, 2 teen sisters & a brother & his kids. Taking the bullet may mean these people may loose me =( oh i feel bad! my friends may think Im selfish but the truth is im just being honest.

Unfortunately, I can't really say I'd be willing to die for a friend. Not even for my family. Perhaps for a girlfriend if I was in a committed relationship and had to die to save her and perhaps also our hypothetical child. But I can't say I'd be that committed to my friends.

It depends on how good friend he is. But one thing is for sure i would not give my life for my friend. Because it's not worth it no matter how good your friend is. But for a good friend i can cross any limits.
