Hello vanities, My mother is 70 years old now. She was a very strong woman before but due to old sickness, a month or two ago, she became very weak. She lives with my sister as her health is not really good right now. I just wish that she will back to normal and enjoy her remaining life with the children and grandchildren.

My parents have already passed on....my mother was young.....67....my father lived to be 84 and most of his life was quality until the last two years...a doctor flubbed up on a surgery and that was the beginning of the end for him...I miss them both!

My Grandmother lived until she was almost 101 Vanities. She was a wonderful woman and the best grandmother a boy could have.

I lost my grandmother when she was 85. I mean we were really looking forward to celebrate her 100th birthday but that dream was never successful. We always felt that she will sail the boat as she was really healthy. Even at such a age she never had any health problems and was able to live on her own. But god's wishshe is no more with us.

My paternal grandmother is already 92 years old. I saw her about 2 years ago and she was still alert and strong for a 90-year old. However, just last month, my father, went to Negros and visited my grandmother and he came back with some news as to her condition that just broke my heart. My father told me that my grandmother didn't recognize him when she saw him and even if told who he was, she already keeps on forgetting who he is and if she is lucid enough to know that he is around, my grandmother would just keep on crying and hugging him. I actually don't look forward to seeing my grandmother because it would just make me cry and not sleep for days just thinking of her. I would rather remember her the way she was the last time that I saw her.
