Newborn baby hits all 8s. Mackayla Marie McReynolds, of Denver, Colorado, surprises her mom when she arrives at 8:08 a.m. on 08/08/08. My question is how do they find these things out to put them on the news reports? Whose job is it? Lol kinda cute! Any babies born on special dates in your family? My little brother was born Christmas day 1975.

That's pretty funny. I had a baby due around 6/6/06, and I was really careful not to go into labor that day... not as if I could control it, I just remember thinking I didn't want him born that day. Well I really had no worries as he wasn't born until 6/22/06, a week and a half past his due date. My oldest child was born the day after my birthday, which falls on Mother's Day every 4 years.

My mom hates the numbers 666 and she won't even dial a number if it has those numbers in a row like that or move in a house with those numbers.. My husband was born 6/6/62 and she told me not to marry him because of it..well I did and we have been together 18 years now.

My birthday and Mother's day is almost always overlooked because of his birthday. Not that I really mind, that's just the way it's been since he's been born. My wedding anniversary is only a week before that too, so usually we celebrate one of MY holidays, and I get 1 gift, the rest of the attention goes to my son.

Wow thats pretty neat! I wonder if she will have lots of good luck. I bet the hospital contacts the newspaper and from there it just spreads out. I think all tv stations probably have people whose job it is to find cute stories like that to put on the news. I don't think anyone in our family was born on a special date. My oldest was born on Friday the 13th lol.

My niece was born on Father's Day 3 years ago. Now that was a good present for Father's Day..My husband has a niece born on Christmas Day 6 years ago.

That isa cool that she was born at 8:08 on 08/08/08. If she was Asian she would be considered a good luck child.

My daughter was almost born on 7/07/07 so that would have been neat.Instead she was taken a day earlier so her birthday is 6th July 2007.I was disappointed in that.

A nice fluke of coincidence, of course. My mom was born on a Holiday, too, but it's not a major one like Christmas. Still, occasionally I would buy her presents themed for the Holiday. It helped me get ideas, at least.

LOL The only one that I know that surprises ppl occasionally is my own birthday: 6-16-68. Ppl give me an odd look when they realize I have 3 6's in my birthday...I'm not evil or anything though LOL ~~AT PEACE WITHIN~~ **STAND STRONG IN YOUR BELIEFS**

I like the sound of special dates like 08/08/08 and the next one will be 09/09/09. It is so neat that a baby was born on yesterdays wonderful date weighing 8 pounds and 8 ounces. When she grows up Mackayla's favorite number is likely to be 8. My sister's first three children have a number pattern. Seth was born on 24th, Jude was born on the 14th and Aleah was born on the 4th of different months. My children have the something similar, Ryan was born on the 19th April and Leo was born on the 19th May.

How funny! My mother was born on Halloween back in 1949. Other than that I don't know of anyone born on special days.

In the Chinese culture, 8 is a very lucky number. I'm sure the Chinese will believe that the baby will be lucky and prosperous.

My oldest daughter was born on a blue moon and it was also the first day of the year, Janurary 1. my twin girls where born on May 17th and they share the same number as their father. He was born Janurary 17th. My youngest was born on Christmas Day. She was born at 12:00am as soon as the clock stricked. So I guess all of my girls have a special date.
