"Friends" on Mylot......I would love to hear from seasoned Mylotters about this

How do you use your network of friends? I have "friends" here on Mylot, but I have not paid much attention to this "friends" feature, to be perfectly honest. Their are a few Mylotters that I "know" and respect. I do not post on Mylot on a regular basis and so I am not all that familiar with how "friends" on Mylot help one another. If you would like to respond to this discussion, I would like to hear what you have to say.... :)

I've been with mylot for three months and I still do not understand this friend's thing. I get request from people to be their friend, and that is it. I write discussions, with little or no responses, so I do not understand how friends can help you earn more $$$$ I'm not going to try to figure it out, I will just continue to do what I am doing on my own. If any of these invisible friends decide they would like to resond to me, great, if not, that is also great. Have a pleasant day.

I use them to find good discussions hopefully the do the same with me. Basically, I like to have people on my friends list if I like their discussions. If I make them my friend, I can turn the notifications on to when they start a discussion and answer them easier.

hehe, this is really good question but the answer is really easy. since this site is a money making site in the basic, then the friends are mostly to make more money making opportunuties and it is really a good way to provide this. if you have more friends in your network then there will be more people who are hearing from you. there will be more people who are seeing your discussion titles and it will surely increase the chance of being responded, and if you are responded by many of them then you will get moch more money of course and this is really a good thing :) in the other hand you will be aware of what kind of discussions are being started by your friends and it will give you the opportunity to find another discussion to reply. and again, if you find more discussions to reply then you will get more money (and so your friends). This is how I look the friends feature on mylot and I am currently quiet satisfied with it. I hope you will also feel the same way wish you a very happy mylotting experience dear mylotian :)

I've written two articles on exactly why friends are so important to make anything here at myLot. Rather than post it all here, you can find it at my profile. Without friends, your discussions get little exposure. Little friends = little exposure. Little exposure = little replies. Little replies = little $$$

I do not have many notifications on including those for friends discussions so I use the 'friends started' tab under discussions to see discussions my friends started and I will respond to any that I can contribute to like this one. It kind of helps you find discussions you could contribute to before searching through the many pages afterwards In the past, I also PM'd my friends that had similar blogs to mine to exchange blog links as the discussion I started on that was deleted so it came in handy that I could just ask my friends

I see. That is very interesting! I think I will use the "friends started" tab, too.

As the previous responses have said friends could help you make more money. In my case these friends actually help me respond to more intelligent discussions. IN that way I could have better responses and maybe higher earnings too, but beyond all of that it's answering the discussion and the interaction that makes it enjoyable to have friends here.
