What Percent Chocolate Do You Buy?

On vacation, we bought some dark chocolate that is 85%. This stuff is the best chocolate ever! Before that, I think all of our dark chocolate has been only 70%, which is not as strong in taste. What percent do you usually buy?

A lot of the time all I can find is around 70%. I have tried Lindt's 85% bars and do like the taste. Over the years I've grown to love dark chocolate...it's not too sweet, is full-flavored, and has healthy antioxidants in it. I've tried 99 and 100% cacao but it's just too bitter...maybe some day I'll acquire a taste for it.

Yeah, that is what I can usually find, 70%. I would love to try 99%, where did you find those?

I know Lindt makes a 99% chocolate but I can't remember at what store I saw it. I know a lot of grocery stores carry 99 or 100% cacao baker's chocolate in their baking section.

I am not a chocolate lover but I do like dark chocolate the bitter it gets taste much better for me though! I usually buy 75% and Lindt dark chocolate is actually sell from 70, 75, 80 to 85% I think.

That's what kind this was I think, Lindt. It's really good. I am not someone who must have chocolate daily either. But I love dark chocolate as a special treat.

My husband likes the 70% stuff, so that is what I buy for him. I personally tend to eat milk chocolate so even the 70% is too bitter for me. The usually like to bake with the dark chocolate, because it does make better cookies.

Yeah, most baking chocolates are dark chocolate. I was never a milk chocolate type of person, but I guess some people prefer chocolate to be very sweet. Sometimes if I'm baking I'll end snacking on the chocolate.
