Do you think there are too many Charities?

I would not go so far as to say that there are too many charities, but there are far too many for an individual to support. You only need to look at some of the charities' registered numbers to realise that most people do not earn enough to give a single penny per year to each charity. I do believe that there are too many charity collections in public places where people are uncomfortable about not giving. Charity should be the choice of the individual and not under duress.

yes there are too many as evidenced by the junk mail i received every day but of course there are those few that are dedicated.
