My son found a cellphone and he is returning it to the owner!

My son found a cellphone while watching a movie at Cine Malaya. Know what! He exerted effort to send text message to the owner of the phone so that they could arrange a meeting place where he could hand back the phone to him. Well, I smiled and said Hmmmm I'm proud of my son. How about you will you also return cellphone or any thing you found if returning to the owner is very possible? Kindly share!

You have raise an honest man out there ! People like your son are rare nowadays, God would have looked these things and surely bless you. I have also found same thing a year ago it was an observance of the city's charter day, I found a cellular phone too , I dialed the numbers stored in the phone and told the "friends" that I found the cellular of the person they know, she was so happy and I felt very happy too. It is joy for us when we do something right !

Yes, it's a joy to do anything good to others. Indeed honest people are rare so we have to do something to multiply. God will surely bless us if we do not covet what is not ours. Thank you for being one of the rare honest people around. God bless!

I do place an ICE on my contact list on my cellular phone, to ensure that if lost they would know whom they can call on, assuming if found by an honest man.

of course i will return it coz it's not mine. for me, 'do not do unto others what you do not want others do unto you' well it's a good karma, if he return that cellphone to the owner, he will receive twice or many blessings. i'm proud of him, at least, we still have good people living in our country lol

Wow that is such a noble thing for your son to do. I guess you have made him that way and you should also be proud of yourself for letting him develop that value of returning things that is not his.
Well if I would also get a lost phone most probably I'll try an effort to return it to the owner.

That's great! I wonder how you raised your children, well I can tell you raised him well and he has a good perception in life. Of course, If I can found a cell phone I will return it to the owner.I hope a lot of people is like that. Generosity and honesty is the one of best quality in life. So far I haven't found any cell phone in my entire life..

You said it right friend. I just hope all people are generous and honest. Certainly i will a great world to live in if all people are like that. But I'm glad that majority of the respondents are for honesty. At least I can't say that "Honestly is such a lonely word." Have a great day friend!

what a fine young man you have. i know u are proud of him i am to. yes, i would try to return anything i found to it's rightful owner. i don't know if the majority of people would have done that or not. good for him!!

Yes madam I believe so too and thanks for your appreciation. And I'm happy to note you are also one of the few honest people on earth. One song goes "Honesty is such a lonely word...", but good thing there are still those who are honest and that I greatly appreciate.

you have raised him very well..^_^ that is so nice of your son..if i have ways to return it i will return it..But if it is quite impossible to find the real owner i would surrender it to proper authorities though it may not be also safe but at least i have done what i can do and what i should do..

Right you are Kaezy, I think I really did. Well, of course we have to do unto others what we do not like others to do unto us. So if my cellphone get lost, I would not want the finder to keep it also and therefore If I found a cellphone then I have to return. If only all the people will have this attitude then we will have no problem with losing anything.

You have a good son, if i found cellphone i'll try to return it right away, for once i found left atm card, and i get run to call the person which has left his card and return it back to him ^_^ You know it is very happy to do such a good things, i am proud of your son too

Yes it lightens your heart to do good thing to anyone. Just imagine if you were the one who lost important thing and it was not returned to you. I believe we should never have interest on something we do not own. God has wonderful ways of rewarding honesty and I am certain you have been rewarded for that. Thank you for the good testimony.
