I am one fan of sushii, i like most the salmon and shrimp one. I'd just love to dine in a rolling shushii store, they serves some many selection and all looks really oishii. I wonder how many sushii variety do you know? and what is your most favorite?

Saviour-V teleports in... There's a number of sushi restaurants around here in Malaysia; Sushi King comes to mind easily among them. From SK's menu, I've had the following: 1. Tori Karaage (chicken nugget topped with mayonnaise) 2. Sake Mayo (salmon mayonnaise) 3. Tuna Mayo (tuna mayonnaise) 4. Kani Tama Maki (deep fried crabstick plus cucumber and mayo - also known as a crab shell roll) 5. Kani Mayo (shredded crab meat in mayo) Back in Japan, at one point, I even had Ebi (prawn) sushi. Haven't tried anything new lately, but those are the ones I like best so far. Saviour-V grins, and teleports out...

wow, that's all seemed so oishii. I never had any idea that tori karaage is also use for sushii...hhhmmm wanna try that too. I like crabstick sushii too. We do have here in our place, but they just don't have so much variety like i've seen in Japan. Thanks for sharing your views and experience.

Cool, it's the first time I have read about Chicken being a type of sushi. Maybe I could suggest it to one of my friends that cook, that would be a challenge for him. Thanks for the idea. They all sound so delicious.

I don't know all the different types of sushi, I just eat what ever I can get my hands on. However, I do have a special place in my stomach for squid sushi. Yum yum! I just have to love the Japanese restaurant in town.

I'm a fan of them too. I usually go for them first when I eat at a buffet though I have never tried to eat at a rolling sushi store. If you don't mind by asking what does "Oishii" mean? I like Salmon and Tuna sushi more than anything else. I can't explain it much but the flavor of the salmon is just too good, while the tuna, though not as flavorful, still is delicious to me. Aside from salmon and tuna, I know the egg(is that tamago?) and sea urchin.

first of all, oishii is a Japanese term for delicious...now you know! hehehe. I live once in my life in Japan and there were lots of fun and unforgettable memories, like eating sushii. I tried sea urchin once, but i can't explain, probably i am not in the mood that day. Meaning, i don't like it then. But i am still willing to try one more time. I really love salmon and tuna, i guess both are the best. Try to dine at rolling sushii store, it is a nice experience too. Ja ne!
