Is society going down the drain?

When i was young, i played games and had fun. Todays youth drink, smoke and do things i didn't even know about at that age. Also has come an age of violence, the likes of which we have never seen before. What can be done to save future generations?

I don't think that the society is going down the drain. I will take it as a change brought in by the cultural mix, technology and awareness about many things at a younger age. You are right that violence in society is on a rising side and we seriously need to inculcate some moral and human values in the youth of today.
