A couple I know has been married for 15 years and told me that never in their relationship have they had fights and that they have a healthy relationship. What could a healthy relationship be?

A healthy relationship to me is that couples every once in awhile are going to argue no matter what, but they are always willing to work out their differences and never decide to give up on the other.

A healthy relationship is two people who love and respect each other no matter what. To be there for one another even when they disagree. Through tough times and not so tough times. To love eachother.

I think that depends who is defining it! I find it hard to believe that they've never had fights. Maybe no major fights. I don't know if my marriage is healthy or not. We get along pretty good. We love each other but there is a lack of communication and it is starting to affect the relationship. We don't really have major fights but we have fights. I don't think fights make a relationship unhealthy though. I think if there is love and total commitment and respect it can be healthy.

A little give and a little take. It's agreeing with your husband 100% even if you don't think he's right in what he's saying. It's loving him for his opinions and forfeiting your own so a fight won't break out. It's being your own person, but not harming your husband's own personality. It's the same for a man. A man must understand and love his wife for all that she is no matter what her own opinions are, must learn to clip his tongue against anything his wife may say to offend him. It's a bit difficult, but never hard to reach. It's beauty and nature, it's love and compassion. It's the feeling you get when your in his arms late at night and he's holding you while the both of you sleep. It's the morning's breakfast and the day's unpredicatables! It's love, raw unadultered love! er, or that's my own opinion.
