My Chiropratic told me that I have an Hernia Disc in my back. I have been seeing him for over 3 years now for my back.. I had an complete MRI, done to my back. And he told me that he does not see why I can't be allowed disability.. He told me that if it gets worser, then I will have to get surgery on my back.. I was told that if they find me to be disabled, I would qualify for SSI. What eaxctly is a Hernia Disc? Is this condition really serious? I just turned 30 years old on this past Saturday! Will I even qualify for disability?

What a terrible thing for you to have to suffer! I'm sorry you might be disabled but if so, at least you can be at home for your children and not all stressed about working full time and trying to make a home for them all the while. This might be a very good thing for all of you and will also work in your favor during the divorce proceedings--you'll get more child support that way and your children will be more financially secure. by the way, is he paying any interim child support? He has to, you know. Go to legal aid, they'll do this for free, and file a request with the courts if you haven't already!

cream, a hearniated or bulging disk is when the cushion that sits between the spinal vertebra pushes outward. This can cause the nerves to be pinched.these cushions or,discs are between each vertibra. It can be serious, but usually it is not. There are surguries to correct it.But do not wait too long to have the surgury, as I did, and had a lot of nerve root damage. I have have several of them. I have degerative disc disease, and so a lot of mine go bad. I have had 5 back surguries and 1 neck surgury because of rupturied discs. But it usually will not qualify you for disabillity unless it is very bad.You should see a orthapedic surgon, or a neurogyst.

I think you mean herniated disc. It is where the disc is bulging. It is a serious condition that most times leads to back surgery. Qualifying for a disability is a long drawn out affair but would be worth it if it will help you. My brother has 3 herniated discs in his back.
