18 years of life as student, is it big or small

we actually had that discussion with my friends before...why make schooling too long to spend when they can change it to shorten the span of sending us to school... for example, in primary to high school, we spend at least here in our country, at least 12 years, when we only learn those basic in school..then in college, why not go straight to the field where taking to? why are there are so many subjects that are not really related to our fields? i dont really know the answers to that why they have to make it a long stay in school, i think thats the reason also why some other people dont have much effort and attention to go to school before they thought that they are only wasting time..and how about to the poor? they also think that it will cost them a lot, so why not just lessen it to give all the opportunity to learn and be send to school...so for me its not worth being in school for 18-20 years when you can learn from 10-15 years....haha i hope that makes sense.. I feel that this 33% of ur life span was the most important part... I liked it...and enoyed it... made good friends..... Also gained a lot of knowledge... and was able to earn a job for myself... I dont think we need to change this world...
