Are lumps found on the body, if they are sore, is it a good sign or not?

I don't know much about lumbs but as far as I know, lumbs are omething to worry about, whether they are serious or not, big or small, deep or shallow. I had once that incident that I found a lumb and that drove me crazy. I didn't want to go to the doctor because I was afraid he would say I had cancer. Then, one day, my best friend forced me to go to the hospital and have the lumb checked. It turned out that it was only a lipoma. And as the doctor said the 99,9% of lumbs are lipomas. So, you better check it out, or else you will be soon in a psychiatric clinic. Good luck (as I'm sure you'll have it).

If you have found lumps my dear please scurry to your primary care physician immediately. Do not become a statistic. Huggers.

Some lumps around your neck can be signs of a tooth infection, cold, or even a non-cancerous tumor. However, only your doctor would be able to know for sure. I'm glad you made an appointment. There are many things if found out early, can save alot of problems down the road.

I would have them checked out by a doctor as soon as possible. You never know, and it is better safe than sorry.

It could be a number of reasons. But, if it is sore, I would see a doctor as soon as you can to make sure it is okay.

Any 'unnatural' lump, i.e.one that shouldn't be in the body, should be checked immediately by a caring Doctor. Generally, when these things happen people worry, however you can know whether or not you really should be worrying easily by having it checked by your Doctor. There is an old saying "if you can fix it, do so and if you can't there is no point in worrying about it." In this case caramello, fixing it means having the necessary check-up. Good luck.

I think you should have the lumps checked at the hospital. You'll never know just what it is by just looking at it.

I would say that a sore lump is NOT a good sign. It might not be anything, but it wouldn't hurt to have it checked out by a doctor. I once found a lump in my leg and I found out it was a tumor! So, if I were you, I'd get it checked. Like someone else said, it's better safe than sorry.

Lumps = see the doctor.. Unless you know their cause for sure. I get lumps from ingrown hairs, I get hives from allergic reaction to pork... my glands swell up in reaction to asthma created because my sinuses drain into my lungs instead of out the nose... due to a reaction from recieving severe electrical shock... Lumps can just be swollen glands anywhere in the body as the body fights infections both serious and non serious.. unless you know the cause if the lumps last for more then a couple of days. Go to the doctor. I believe going in ASAP is the best if you are able to - DNatureofDTrain
