Tattoos that you regret

I am sitting here watching season one of Kat Von D's L.A. Ink. On one of the episodes a girl who was very committment phobic decided to get a symbol on her back representing a boyfriend she wasn't sure she wanted to marry. Kat and all the girls in the shop tried to talk her out of getting it because she was so unsure. In the end she went through with it. I have done all the "wrong" things when it comes to tattoos. All the things people tell you not to do. My first one I chose off a wall. It didn't mean anything to me. I was 16 and just "wanted one". I have my husband's name tattooed on me. We also have matching tattoos. I don't regret any of them. I wouldn't have chosen my first one if I had to do it today but I don't regret it. It was a life experience. I told my husband that if we ever split up I would just have his name crossed off and have the next guys name tattooed under it. LOL So, do you have any tattoos that you wish you would have not gotten? Did you cover it? Have it lasered off? Just left it alone?

Hello moneyandgc I used to have a cross on one of my baby fingers which was done for me in the girls toilets at school when I was about 13 because everybodyelse was doing it. I later had it cut out when I was about 18 I think but it is not noticable. One day I would like to have a tattoo but I have never seen anything I would like to have on my body for the rest of my life so for the moment I remain tattooless!

I remember when the kids I went to school with were tattooing each other too. I never got in on it though, I didn't like the way they looked. Plus, I knew I would get in trouble when I got home! lol They were doing little hearts and crosses.

Yeah I probably got in with the wrong crowd at school!! It did look nasty and that is why I later got it removed. It was quite small so I was able to hide it from my mum and when she saw it once I think I told her I had drawn it on with pen!!

I don't have any tattoos yet. I've thought about getting one for a long time, but I was afraid that once I got it I would later regret it. I'm a little afraid it would hurt too. I don't know what I would pick. I want something that means something to me I guess, or atleast something I like. I don't see ever having the money for one so I haven't really thought about it.

I have 4 altogether. I plan on getting at least one more. It will be the names of my children. I haven't decided where to put it yet though. I have it all designed. They are expensive and that is the main reason I haven't done it yet.

I have one tatoo and if given the chance I'll have it removed in a heartbeat. I only got it b/c I was angry and I've regretted it ever since. I did see a site at one time that had a way of removing them but the stuff to do was like $250...something for me to look into when I get the money. I love both of mine, and plan to have more. you have to give a lot of thought to the design and to the location, so you know you will always love them.

I don't have any tatoos, so I guess I don't regret any! LOL! I probably will never get a tatoo.

I don't have any tattoos yet, but I have been seriously thinking about getting one. I'm not sure what yet. I'm a little scared it's going to hurt, I'm really not a fan of needles. Several of my friends have tattoos and seem to be happy with them. So maybe if I don't chicken out I'll have one soon.
