A few questions about Wicca and other crafts

Just like with my Islam question I am looking for information from witchcraft based people about their faiths. As witchcraft is a very large broad title for many smaller groups I will not make this a specific group topic. If you are craft based in your faith and wish to share with me your ideas and understands of nature and the universe please do so. The purpose of these topics for me is to build an understanding of as many faiths as possible. I do not believe in one path for all and with my recent ordination I am looking to be able to intelligently spread the understanding that we are all taking different paths to the same place. Please share, I will not judge your path however others here may so be prepared for that if you do share. As with the Islam topic I will not acknowledge those that attack others so if you want a conversation do not attack, share and learn.

I'm Pagan and a Witch but NOT Wiccan and would be more than happy to answer any questions you may have BUT I can only answer for myself obviously...Partly becuase I cant speak for anyone else and partly because nobody else follows the path that I do...they are on their own road which will of course be very different to mine...
All that said, what would you like to know...

I have studied some Wiccan material. I have brought into my life many things from this path so I have a basic understanding of Witch craft. I am also Pagan so again I have a good understanding of the Craft. I have come across some Witches that do not practice the 3 fold law or do not harm others. I am looking for information on the many types of Witches and how to tell their basic paths apart, and how to dispel the myths behind them. With my recent ordination and my chosen path I will be able to preform basic services such as hand fasting but with this comes the ridicule that I am leading others to evil and allowing evil in my life. I will not say from who but I am sure with your path you know what I mean. I am hoping to gather enough information that I can defend my decision to offer these services intelligently without any fear of sounding like I don't know what I am talking about.
On your path where did you start out, you are not Wiccan so what if any category do you fall under, if you care to share that? On your path your basic control factors are what? (the law of 3 fold, the creed, ect.)
Maybe you could help me sort out the different groups of Witch's. That would help greatly as I am lost in a sea of information right now. This all comes down from a friends attack on my ordination and I want to prove to myself that I can be a minister to all.

I hate to admit it but I only just read this part of your response but I thank you for it. You have given me some great starting points and wonderful advise. My next semester is pagan based faiths and how to preform the ceremonies. The people in my life that don't like my work can just deal with it, I don't have time to make them happy. Thank you again.
