Are Helium earnings down lately..

Or is it just me? I can't help but notice that my earnings so far this month are less than half of what they were at this point last month- almost halfway through, and it seems they've hardly moved. Are people just too busy to be reading on the internet, or is there some other reason? Or am I just really unpopular these days?

I swear they've been down for a long while; there was a time before the new year where I posted articles, and you could sit hitting refresh over and over and watch them earn a penny or two each time. It's so hard to tell, and this is one of the issues I have with Helium; there's no transparency to the earnings system. On AC, I can see exactly how many hits I'm getting, and hey, isn't that odd? In terms of cash through hits, I'm getting four times the amount last month that I did on Helium, with a third as many articles. And that's not including upfront payments. The only reason I'm still even writing on Helium is that I've managed to squeak up to three stars, and intend milking them for every penny I can on the Reward-a-thon.

I haven't really noticed it too much to be honest and have concentrated on just trying to improve my writings and coming up with new material. Maybe I should pay close attention. I got one article that's constantly earning like crazy for a while and just have to run with it I guess. It's a tech article on web design.

Mine have been down for last two to three months, but have to say they seem to be picking up in the last couple of weeks.

I only have 2 articles at Helium so any changes would be rather insignicant for me to notice. Will check your articles out.

I'm not sure your unpopular but my earnings have been up recently, thanks in part to getting my third star. I also try to cross promote my Associated Content articles with my own website www.erikdell.com. This seems to work fairly well and I'm not making a killing by any means but things have looked worst. I suggest cutting and pasting (you're lucky you can do that!) your links into your mylot responses. Reference your articles every chance you get. Word of mouth is key. Good luck!
