Have you ever tried to quit runescape?

Hey, I tried to quit runescape twice now, mainly because my grades were being affected and my family was getting angry at me for spending too much time on RS. The first time I 'quit', I was called back to the game by a real-life friend of mine. I was a lvl 26 at that time and was training mining. I could only manage to keep away from www.runescape.com for about a week. Not enough will power, i guess :/ The second time, I abruptly 'quit' it. I was a lvl 58 then and was killing hill giants. Suddenly I thought, why all this effort and waste of time. It's not gonna benefit me in my real life anyways. I managed not to play RS for full 2 months(yikes!). But I commited a mistake and forgot to delete the RSS feed which informed me of RS updates. So I came back on RS after the Fist of Guthix was introduced and am playing it to date. No regrets though. Well, that's my boring story. What about you ppl? Have you tried to quit RS? If yes, then why? And how did you manage to not succumb to it again?
