Cinnamon Spice Benefits Blood Sugar and Cholesterolapparently, cinnamon may be a help to control blood sugar (glucose) levels and blood lipid levels in type 2 diabetics.. Cinnamon has been found to triple insulin's ability to metabolize blood sugar, or glucose, according to research conducted at the Human Nutrition Research Center on Aging at Tufts University. Because of this ability, cinnamon protects against diabetes, reduces hunger, and helps control sugar cravings, thus making it easier to control weight. think i be having more cinnamon in my diet cinnamon on apples or any fruit is nice.. maybe french toast in cinnamon. pumpkin pie and cinnamon. have any suggestions for cinnamon?

I love cinnamon. I've heard that it's good for blood glucose and also antibacterial. I put cinnamon on/in tons of things in my oatmeal, on cereal, fruit salad, applesauce, in breads, and (of course) cinnamon rolls, muffins, cakes, cookies (especially oatmeal), apple pie, and sometimes on peanut butter sandwiches. I even sprinkle a little in chili. I like to use cinnamon sticks in cider and tea.

I totally love cinammon. It is great on apple and apple products. I like that companies seem to be putting it into cereals more. It is a very healthy spice and one that I like to eat alot. One of my very favorites.
