English is the most easiest and popular language in the world, I think. Meanwhile, Chinese is the most profound one!

That really is an impossible question to answer because there are so many languages in the world. It would be impossible to narrow it down. I taught myself Spanish some years ago and I love that language. I'm Sicilian and I love the Italian language, although I don't speak it myself. I really wish I did! French is also a very beautiful language. Since I'm of latin decent I love all the latin based languages. I can imagine that all of the Asian languages would be the most difficult languages to master. Have a great day everyone and an even better one tomorrow! Purrs, Catwoman=^..^= & Mija

i notice that all the latin languages have the same roots. if you know one well, u can pick up the other easily. i know a caucasian man who speaks french and spanish well..he took it in school and then lived abroad in france and spain. and i also know an iraqi woman who speaks spanish and italian well. and with my broken french from college, when i went to brazil, i understood 10% porteugese.

I speak fluent French, English, German and Spanish and have just started learning Catalan. If I had to pick my favourite out of all five I would say Spanish. I love Spanish but strangely enough I'm not a big fan of Italian. French is quite flat and has many nasal sounds but I like its softness. Spanish has a few rough sounds (j, r, rr) that are nonetheless pleasant. I would like to learn Portuguese in the near future.

I like Chinese and Spanish. They seem romantic and swift. English, my own language seems clunky and slow by comparison.

I am a native English speaker and I can speak French. At the moment I am learning Spanish. I wish that I was talented at learning languages but I am not. I think that French is the most enchanting and romantic sounding language in the world. I like the accent and the sounds in different words. The word 'the' can be le, la, les or l'. So that means it is so charming. I like other romantic sounding languages like Spanish, Italian and Romanian. German sounds quite harsh and do does Dutch. Danish and Swedish sound a bit like melodies. In terms of being useful English is the number one language and Spanish is spoken in lots of different countries. Languages that are difficult to learn don't attract me. I admire people that can learn something challenging like Arabic or Japanese.

I think English since most of the people around the world knowns that language. But ofcourse there are people who lives in a country who doesn't know English a bit just like Japanese and Korean. The most language that I attract most is Japanese (Nihonggo) and Korean language. I'm studying Japanese all by myself and looking forward to learn more about this 2 languages that I really like most.

french sounds the best because it sounds romantic and elegant. i live in america, so english is the only language i am fluent in. i took french in college, but i only know broken french. i think in order to speak a foreign language well, u have to move to that country, and live with the people and culture to make it stick in ur head. but i occasionally pick up foreign words from different people i meet in society.

for me sorry sanskrit has been the most ancient and the best language.its not only the mother of many languages spoken in india but also outside.though now only in various scriptures and not used commonly, the advancement the language had is amazing.

I think that French is the most beautiful sounding language but other languages have their merits also. For instance, German is very good for technical descriptions and Japanese looks very nice in written form.

I am bilingual, i know Arabic and English. However, i am so fond of the Italian language and hope that i would learn it, actually master it, one day. The language is so unique, expressive and musical. Most of the words end in either o like bambino or a like seniorita...i love their rhythmic sounds and tones..
