Has your dog ever hurt you by accident? have you ever bashed heads? I was playing with my dog a few minutes ago and we bashed heads. I was getting one of his toys (i think hes football) and he was running at me and jumping around like a rino ( i say that because i think he looks like one when he does it ) but then i don't know what happened really but he bashed my head real good. it hurt like a mother f--ker! I couldn't really move for a second. All i could do was stand there and hold my head and all that kept running through my mind was the "F" word and if Saber (my dog) was OKAY and he Is He didn't even act like he knew he had hit something and i checked his head and no bumps either but i have one! a big one right above my left eye. It is sore and i feel like i have a light headache around that area but accidents happened and he did kiss it better. Hes sweet like that but it still hurts! lol

I know it hurt really bad, but still the story made me laugh. It is kind of humorous in a way. Poor doggie, I know he didn't mean to do that. I'm glad he kissed it better. lol Does it feel any bit better now, by the way?

Yeah the one day i was playing fetch with my dogs. Well thor had a long rope, well his ear must have been itchy and he hit my knee with his head. I swear he has a really hard head. I had a big bruise on my knee for like a week. Then another time he accidently hit me in the face with the rope when he was whipping it around. It hurt like hell. But he didn't know any better. Hopefully your head feels better.

I play fight with my dog...kind of. I poke at her and grab her feet, and she bites my hand and arm. The fight is is usually officially on when I get on all fours and stalk her; she sneers and grabs my hand. Once I was stalking her like this, when she "swiped" at me with one of her paws (dogs don't swipe like cats do). She caught me right under my right eye. I now have a little scar there; fortunately my glasses cover it. :P

Dogs have really hard heads! That's happened to me, but usually I get scratched and my dog has really sharp claws. I keep them trimmed but ouch!

Oh this has happened to me and my children numerous times with our dogs (we have 5 and have a litter of pups at least twice a year as we breed)...it is quite painful isn't it! Luckily our canine friends are happy to give us a cuddle & kiss it better for us, LOL!

Well it seems like you need to have your bump checked out if the pain and swelling continues. Well I am pretty sure your dog is innocent and doesn't realized that he has done something wrong. It's pretty forgivable thing.

The head is the least sensitive part of a dog. There's no way you can hurt one by clobbering it's head. Humans, on the other hand,...

Atleast the dog is alright hehe. Just take care of your bumps the dog surely feel sorry for you. Make it a lesson never to play with others toy.

Me and my dog will always be playing around and then we will get hurt or something and my dog just gets up and walks away like nothing happened and then I am just laying on the ground freaking out ha ha.

Lol! That is too funny, but I would rather that kind of dog than a lazy one! My former dog was absolutely insane. Actually insane is the wrong word: he was TOO smart! He would bite us incessantly and the only way to get him to stop was to give him a treat. We didn't want to encourage his bad habits, but we felt it was necessary (BIG mistake). He caught on quickly and it got out of control. He also would take any object we fell on the floor and refuse to give it back to use when we approached him. He would growl if we even came within a few feet of him. Again, treats were the only method of getting back our materials. We had to give him away, not so much because he was bad, we were just HORRIBLE trainers!

I have a hyperactive Jack Russell Terrier and I am extremely clumsy. In other words, we're both walking disasters. :)

Saber sure is cute! We have a yellow lab puppy who is like a bull in a china shop some days and we both have bruises and little nics from bumping heads, or being run into! And when the cocker starts playing its like a mini football team in here! I would put some ice on your eye and above it and check your pupils to make sure there is no concussion. (Yes, I've been there from playing with the dogs) If you have a concussion, I suggest you call your dr. for instructions as each person is different. And then when you feel better, I'd continue playing with your "rhino"! After all, he does kiss it better!

Haha your dogs seems to be funny. My dog is pretty wild he to. a couple of years ago when i playes with him its started to get a little to wild but before i had time to stop him guess what he did! HE PUNCHED OUT MY FRONT TOOTH! luckely i was pretty young then so he only punched out a milk tooth but it still hurted like i dont know and then it took 4 years for it to grow out. so in four years i had a bit greakin hole in my mouth. but now its all god and i dont play with him so rough anymore.
