Hey everyone! My sister wanted me to ask a question on here for her. She just recently moved down from Michigan to Florida to by my roomy and she is looking for a new bank. The bank she was a member of at home is not available down here so does anyone know of any good banks that are pretty much in multiple cities here in the U.S.? She is looking for a good bank to have her checking account with that has minimal fees, good benefits and rates. Anyone have any suggestions? Oh and I currently bank with Suntrust and I can't stand them. Their fees are outrageous and they could care less about their customers.

I do not like banks in general. I prefer credit unions and that is where I keep the majority of my money. Banks are for those who dont have a credit union they can join. I do have one local bank here.BBT which is pretty good. They are very friendly at this bank because it is located in a small town, but they have some really excellent programs for your casah.

Im not sure if theres any washington mutuals around you but I highly recomend them.I've been banking them for a while now and I have absolutly no problems. They have almost no fees and you get free checks. The teller wll help you without having to call a manager they know their stuff :]. Even if you or your sister accidently get overdrafted they erase it off your account if you explain to them what happended.Well good luck with finding a good bank I really like washington mutual.
