I am learning the guitar as well. It is a long slow process for me. When I first started learning I did not think I was learning very fast either but I am still playing and still learning. I'm not that good but it is a fun hobby. You should check around I know in my town there is this place uptown that gives lessons for like 25$ a month. I think that is one per month at 25$. Anyway you should also look at lessons online. They have some free ones. Some are not very good but if you look enough you will find what you are looking for.

Yeah a fun hobby. Particularly for guys, i think they looks charming when playing a guitar XD I did try search online for lessons and guitar sheets Wow most of them were... really out of tune. Any sites you recommend?

Well see I am definately a novice when it comes to the guitar. The only thing I really learned on line was all the cords and scales. I recommend learning scales then it seems to come a little easier. ezinearticles.com/?expert=Peter_Bussey I am not for sure if this is the excact site but Peter Bussey is the guy. I watched some of his video lessons and it seemed to help me. Keep playing, I have a friend who is an older guy and he says that it is better to play for about 20 min a day everyday than to play once a week. He always tells me to have fun with it and not to get yourself down. Says it takes most everyone a while.

The awesome sound of the guitar got me interested when I was 15. I wanted something that spoke to me and I was kind of surprised that the guitar chose me. If you aren't happy with the way you are being taught, then teach yourself the rest. That's what I did. I went to a teacher for a few months until I wanted to brnach out and learn my style on my own.

If you're looking for choards and tab try www.tabrobot.com It's pretty straight forward site, we use it quite a lot for getting songs for the band I play in. Good luck
