Has anyone here tried chocolate covered potato chips?

I have not tried them but you know what? They sound mighty good. Almost like a chocolate covered peanut....a little sweet and salty!

That does sound good. I've never tried them or heard of them but I love sweet and salty together. If they're yummy dark chocolate covered potato chips I'd better not have too many near me or I'd eat the whole batch.

i've never heard of them but i love to eat chocolate cake and potato chips together,it tastes so good,not that i need it-lol.

YES, YES, YES, YES! my sister and her husband went home here to the philippines last may. she is married to a japanese. so they bought this potato chipsfrom the airport that are covered with chocolates.... and yes it taste heavenly. but you need to put it inside the fridge or it will be gooey and the potatoes will break because the chocolate gets hevy when it is melting. i havent seen anything like that here in our coutry. my sister is still with us for she is giving birth next month and i will remeind her husband to bring some of those chocolate potato chips when he comes back here to be present on the delivery of his son.

I have tried them and I really liked them. I thought they were very good. They are a delicious mix of the sweet of the chocolate and the salt of the potato chip. Unfortunately, I don't know where to buy them or if they are even generally sold. I had them at a Wedding and Event Show where vendors were offering samples of their wares. I confess that I ate several of the samples of the chocolate covered potato chips. Actually, I think that people may be having them at events with more frequency because someone else I was talking to mentioned having them at some kind of party. The closest thing I think that I have heard of in the stores are the chocolate covered pretzels. I think they may be called Flipz or something like that. If you haven't tried those, you might want to give them a try though I don't think they quite measure up to the cholocate covered potato chips.
