Just when I am commenting on my other thread about typing with two fingers... not like a true typist.. I have hit upon this idea.
If you could check there... one 'cher' had nearly about 8000 posts here in mylot, and the one reason I could guess is.. the person's ability to type faster and faster, with good accuracy. The previous vocation being TYPIST.
So, friends.. please shine your typing skills. I am looking for some online programs, where one can shine and sharpen the typing skills.
Goodluck.. and if anyone has just such a program, typing tutor.. please share with us.. to type perfectly, faster..and, naturally as a consequence .. earn more.

Well I'm a pretty good typer. But when I'm bored I practice my typing. There is this website where you can race other people. The website is http://play.typeracer.com/ . You can also practice by yourself and not race people. It keeps track on how many races you race, and your average speed from all the races.

HONORED. there are well many suggestions and comments, but, just three links. and yours is the best.. to race and trace.. and learn the earning skill through perfecting the typing advantage.

Being able to type fast is definitly a bonus! I've found a website that is absolutly free learn2type.com that gives you practice modules that increasingly get harder as you go, and keeps track of your words per minute. This program is used in schools and even by employees to test peoples typing abilities.

No I believe its a combine activity which pays you. If they will pay at only post no one would like to spend thair time on responses and comments and the site wont work properly.

hi consultrainer. Thanks for a good suggestion. There are a lot of online typing programs available. But I'm mentioning one that I liked most. In any search engine just type 'typingmasterpro' it has another two version like eng and inc in place of pro. hope that s/w will help you to sharpen your typing skill. Good luck !!

Not sure if this would help but there's an online/flash game called Typer Shark. You might want to try this. Just keep on practicing!

hi
just one suggestion to you to increase your typing speed without any software.
just type like following combination continuously for 1 hour daily in notepad or word. make one line with a to z alphabet with any combination. and then try to type the same line bellow continuously.
for example.
abc def ghij Klmn opq Rst Uvw xyz.
abc def ghij Klmn opq Rst Uvw xyz.
Thyp new combinations daily and type it for minimum 30 minutes.
after 30 minute give take a star time for 1 minute and start typing for a minute
after a minute stop writing and then count the cherecters with tools- Word count.
Hope this may work for you.

that's true. that's the only technique for a member here in myLot to earn more.
i am so thankful that i was able to take typing classes when i was in highschool. come to think of it, i wasn't really interested to take those classes but since it's a must, i finished the whole course.
if a person can type quicker, thus, he or she can post more in a day than a "point-point" typist.

i agree with you... my typing speed had increased significantly since the first time i join mylot and it really helps me to earn more here... so if we can shape up our typing skills, we will earn more here definitely... take care and have a nice day...

Its not all about typing . There should be quality in it too . Otherwise there is no meaning of your typing and content. Isn't it ?

Practice makes a man perfect,if you daily do typing,anything you can be good typist,i'm not a professional typist or i know the method of typing,still i can type as faster than any other by practicing more.Another thing i dont think by only typing fast one can earn more from mylot.For this you need more knowledge about different topic.Thanks

Good day...Typing fast is definitely a bonus in earning here at mylot. Thinking creatively also helps a long way. There are members here that had reach 10,000+ post and got me into thinking if ever I could reached that mark when would it be.

hi... Ya i totally agree with you. We can earn more if we can type faster. We can ype more in a day if we shine up our typing skills. Besides we also need to have patience to sit in front of the computer and keep on writing whole day. Write as long as we can to get higher pay on a response. Try to avoid use some words that are ban from mylot so that we wont waste our time and can get more money from a response. Happy Myloting!!

Hi there consultrainer!
I have learned to type at an early age. However, my typing skills were really improved when I was in high school. We then had a typing subject. I remember well how strict our teacher was. I guess that helped a lot. Then my typing skills were sharpened when I was in college. With constant practice and application of my skills, I now have better speed and accuracy. I believe that's just it... constant practice. Good luck!

I think the best way to sharpen your typing skill is to continously practice like we do in mylot. I often have wished I could type faster. The faster you type the faster you can do your resposnes and the more money you will make. I am trying to type this fast as I write it. I think I have suceeded.

just cause they have that many posts doesn't mean they aren't a few finger typer. they could be someone thats been here since the beginning or they respond to alotttttttttttttttt of discussion. i'm sure begin here from the get go or shortly after would help that person have that many posts.

I took a typing class back in middle school and learned to type with all my fingers so I dont jsust use two fingers

I used to type with just my index fingers and now I can touch type most of the time. (If I haven't had my coffee fix I can barely hit the right keys).
The best advice I can offer you is to just practice. There are models for which fingers should touch which keys but I've never followed any of them. Don't worry if at first you're staring at the keys as you type, or just using two fingers. As you get more confident you can add another finger in here and there.
