Do you feel men have easier lives than women?

I mean men don't have to deal with the pressure of shaving their body hair and putting on makeup as women have to deal with. Men don't go through menopause, have periods or have to carry/deliver the baby. So when it comes down to it who do you think lives equal lives? Why? Or is it equally difficult?

Everyone thinks the grass is greener on the other side of the fence. Physically it is better to be a man, but I think men are put under a lot of mental strain especially if they feel responsibility for caring for their family. Men tend to die younger and are more prone to many forms of illness including heart problems. I think nowadays actually more men ARE worried about how they look and will spend more time preening, shaving, waxing etc.. (much to their own detriment in my opinion). I think women probably tend to have a bigger social circle and are more able to articulate their feelings and emotions, whereas men carry their troubles around with them. At the end of the day, who said it should be fair? It's just different, I am sure there are some things about being a man that you would just hate. (Wearing ones genitals on the outside is less fun than you might think...)

I think I have to agree that women have more pressure on them to look a certain way, but I always think that it's odd because most of those pressures come from other women it seems. The vast majority of men prefer a curvy figure, yet the pursuit of size zero seems to be paramount. This is not desirable as far as most men are concerned so one is left asking who is it who thinks size zero is attractive? Things I am personally NOT too bothered about: Leg hair (as long as she has less than me...) armpit hair - so what? it's natural Eyebrow plucking Length of eyelashes Tight skin Weight (as long as she's lighter then me...) Nails (really who likes false nails other than women??) In moderation, all these things might be nice, but would any of the above have an impact on desirability?? nope.... I am sure there are men who would list these things as 'priority' and the men and women that dote on how good they look are welcome to each other, the rest of us are interested in the person underneath...You may say that my view is marginal, but it's only that my view doesn't get voiced because our society buys into this type of thing big time encouraged by cosmetic companies.

I agree with some and disagree with others. I like how you pointed out the grass is greener part, haha, so true in most cases. Responsibility - well, yes, I agree. As far as appearance girls in my opinion are definitely more concerned because of the stress society bestows uponthem. The social circle was a very good point I never considered while posing this question. very true that is.

hi there... i guess that they have it easier. hahahaha... i mean....with women, they have to suffer dysmenorrhea and hot flashes during menopause... hehehe... and don't forget about the child bearning. but what i heard from othes that because they never experienced what women expereince, they have lower pain threshold with pain. however, i feel it's better for men in terms of relationships, because they make the first move while women just wait for them... but i guess, this is not 100% true these days but just the same, we wait for them to make the first move.. hahahahaha...

Haha, I think maybe we would like to reverse roles. Do you know how nerve wracking it can be to ask a girl out for some men, haha. But you make some good points. Thanks.

hahahaha... okay okay... well, you have point there... how nerve wracking is it? to what extent? do you pretend that you are not as interested if you are to a girl because of the fear of being turned how? how would the girl will be able to know that a man is interested to her? hehehehe.... well, just like i said, it's not 100% true anymore since there are women out there who are very comfortable in making the first move and even proposing to their boyfriends... hehehehe...

I don't think it's as easy as that because men have problems also. Though as women we have to have periods and children men can experience bad things also. Sorry to be crude but, I wouldn't fancy having something heavy to carry around all day it must be so uncomfortable. Plus men have different health problems.

Wow...what do you think about men CazCo? I'm man but sometimes thinking that women have easier lives than men. Ha ha ha...that's life, that reason why world have men and women also why God chose men and women to live in the earth. I think men have problems too. Men or women each others have problems, they're have weakness and strength.
