I have several sisters and fortunately there is no sister rivalry going on. We talk to each other at 2 or 3 days out of the week as we all live in different states. When we do all see each other we make the most of our time together and do things that create memories and just have fun. I'm sure your sister misses you as well.

that's really great hearing that sibling rivalry doesn't happened in your family. that is how my parent brought my sister and myself up. both of us are love so we shouldn't envy or get jealous with each other. thanks for the post!! i know she misses me as well as i miss her. :) Best regards to your sisters!!!

my sister is in Manila. she works there for more than a year now.. we grew up here in Cebu and finished studies here too, but she opted to work in manila. i surely miss here especially because we share bed when she used to stay in our house. but it's alright. we text each other quotes and sometimes we would call each other up just to ask how we are doing and to tell each other how much we miss each other company!

Hi. Coincidentally, I just spoke to my sister last night, and we were telling each other again how glad we were to see each other when I vacationed at her and her husband's home just last week. We also seemed to be just beginning to get closer than ever, when her husband's elderly mother became ill. So after he retired, they relocated to a subdivision right outside of Tupelo, Mississippi. I live in Chicago, Il. She moved about 5 years ago. I miss her so much sometimes. That's why I wanted to spend my 50th birthday with her. She's 5 years older (smile). My brother-in-law's mother eventually passed, but his father is still living. But he has lots of brothers and sisters-in-laws living very close to help out. So in the next couple of years they should be coming back to Chicago! I can hardly wait, and neither can her son, daughter, and 4 grandchildren. So keep in touch the best you can and in all the ways you can until you are reunited again. Most of all keep each other in your prayers!

I had a sister who is 12 yrs older than me. she is like my mother coz she is the one that took care of me when i was a baby. since i was in 2nd year high school, we only see each other once a year coz she works as a nurse before in Saudi and now in the US. i missed her a lot. to ease the feeling, we call each other using vonage, so its cheap and we also do video call. everytime time she goes home for a vacation, we see to it that we spend quality time together. she is very supportive in the things that i do. she even help me financially. buy me many stuff especially imported once hehehe... i am hoping that someday we will be together for a long time. im looking forward this coming march coz she will be home again.

My sister is now in Australia (I'm from the Philippines), she is studying there and also do some part-time working. I always talk with her about what happened in school, etc. and she's my listener. I miss her but not that much. We're not really close but there are common things in us like our faith. But there are a few times, when i really missed her. Like, waking up in the middle of the night and suddenly remembering a thought about her, all of a sudden, then i missed her.

I have one sister. She lives about 30 minutes from me. I see her once or twice a month I guess. We aren't super close especially since she married her husband. He's very possesive of her. She lost all her friends and he doesn't let her do anything without him. I tried to plan a mother daughter outing with her but he came along too. I miss her and I wish that we were able to have a stronger relationship.

hi there.. i don't have a sister.. i am the only girl in the family. i wish i have a sister to whom i can share my thoughts, my hopes, and dreams... it's a little difficult at home where i dont have anyone to talk to at times, that's why i always end up calling my bestfriend but she is not here since april 2008, she went abroad to work. and i miss here so much. we used to do things together for over a decade and it's a big adjustment for me. with her here, i didn't get lonely as much. but right now, i always feel so lonely. and i feel bad going around the malls on my own.. hahahaha...that's why i just stay at home and park in front of my computer to surf or mylot... hahahahaha....

I have a younger sister and right now she's in school. Lol. It is currently their examination period and for the past days, I couldn't talk to her that often because she's concentrating on reviewing and she usually locks the door because she doesn't want to be disturbed. Lol. :D I just miss it when we could not laugh that often as we used to but my sister and I really have a close bond. ;) good day. ;)

Hello kenchiprincess I have three sisters, a couple live in the same town as me. Another one lives at the other end of Australia. One of my sisters living in my town moved to China to work for a couple of years and I also missed her. We often chatted on the internet and she would also get lonely, particularly at first. The good thing was that I got to visit China a couple of times and now my brother lives there so I can go and visit more and have somewhere to stay, so you can think of that as well. My sister and I had been on a holiday in Thailand and been to a full moon party so when my sister was in China and I would see the full moon I would think of how we could both see the same moon. Don't worry you can still contact her and you wil see her again.

I have two beautiful sisters away from me, one is in UK and the other is in Calgary. I missed them both but I got too angry before to my sister in UK, she never called me or my mom, I don't mind if she doesn't call me but she should at least call our mom. But one reason I got mad is because I missed her.

Im 30 but i have 2 younger sisters whose 16 and 14. I love them so dearly. I miss them so much. I took care of them when they were babies and have seen them grow. But I have to be with my husband here in US, this also makes it easier for me to support their studies. We do a lot of stuff together, we eat out, we go shopping and we even once made a home beauty spa-(treating each others hair, scrubbing each others feet, while burning scented candles & sipping warm tea)...I do miss them a lot! Im sure your sister misses you too.

i can really how you feel missing your sisters way back home. as sisters there will always be times when we do not agree on thing and have petty differences but this has nothing to do with the love that bonded us together. I know my sister misses me as well as much as i miss her. thanks for the post!!!
