I love to take pictures of everything. I think some pictures capture what words can't say. These are some I took and I'm really proud of them. I'm thinking about doing this for a little extra income. What do you think of these? Should I just keep my day job? LOL htp://cid-5fa27f4986745fb6.spaces.live.com/photos/cns!5FA27F4986745FB6!116/

tinker - taken from her level
They are cute pictures. When you say you were thinking of doing this for extra income, did you mean taking pictures of children? If so, one small tip, hope you don't mind, when taking pictures of children, pets, etc. try getting down to their level instead of taking all the pictures from a standing point of view. I prefer pictures that are taken down at their level, the prospective is much better. It is just my opinion, but you might try it and see if you like it. I have added this picture to give you an idea of what I am referring to. good luck and keep taking pictures

Yeah I was half way down to their level. I was sitting on my knees and trying to get lower with out laying on the ground. It had rained not too long ago that day so I was trying to keep my clothes decent LOL! Yeah I did notice the last picture of my youngest turned out great when I layed in front of him while he was crawling. Thanks for the tip! I appreciate it!

baby squirrel - taken in the spring
I can understand not wanting to get on the wet ground. You wouldn't believe some of the positions I have found myself in just to get a picture. The following picture I was leaning out our upstairs window, but I couldn't resist her, she was just too cute the way she was chillin there.

I was trying to lean down as far as I could but LOL.... not as young I as used to be! I think it was just fun playing around and getting different emotions shot. That's my favorite kind of photo when you can see real raw emotion on faces not just the normal fake smile. Do you agree?

My son and his first fish - My youngest son on his first fishing trip and holding his first fish.
I love taking pictures as well. I think yours turned out very well. They have stock photo sites that pay for the pictures. You could submit them and they will tell you if they are good enough to sell or not. i always want to try but am afraid of failure lol. I love candid shots though and I think they discourage what they call snap shots. I figure mine are more snap shot then art. I love getting the perfect moment caught on film. You should be proud of your work. They represent your creativity. Here is one of my favorite shots. good luck and I hope that you are able to turn your hobby into a money maker.

Those are good. I use to work at a photo studio and you should always get to their eye level. If they are different heights go in the middle. Good job though. Photography is a great hobby. I just do it for fun now.
