I would have to say that the best qualities I inherited from my parents would have to be honesty and the ability to speak my mind. I am a very honest person. I hate being lied to with a passion. And I am very well spoken. If someone upsets me, they know about it. I don't hold back.

I like people who are honest and direct is even better. You dont have to hear things behind your back. yOU ALSO DONT HAVE TO BE A MIND READER TO KNOW WHAT THEY ARE THINKING! APPRECIATE THE RESPONSE, HAPPY MY LOTTING!

I am fortunate enough to have inherited a sense of humour both from mum and dad who both have a good sense of humour. Being able to laugh at life and at yourself makes a great difference in this world and laughter is infectious and people warm to you more if you have a sense of humour, I hate being serious, life is far too serious. I just find it a rare commodity in others. My patience I inherited from my mum, mum is a very patient and understanding person and it's another quality which is good to have. Listening skills I inherited from my father, being able to listen is a talent to have, a lot of people are so tied up in themselves that they haven't got time or patience to listen to others. I will listen to people and give them space to talk, I am a good listener and have been told that many times in the past.

you know I have to say...to be able to listen is so mportant because through my life, I have found that many people dont listen at all. They pretend to hear you or they make only listen to some of what you have said. I have several people who come to mind right away that dont ever listen and I have grown tired of repeating things.LOL

My mother has a obsession with learning that I inherited. If I don't learn something new every day I feel like my day is wasted somehow. My father was a very logical and mechanically gifted man which I think I've inherited from him.

Learning something new everyday is just a great way to look at each day because as long as we are learning we are growing. That was a very positive thing to inherit. Sounds like you had two wonderful people to inherit from.....
