its really unresolved topic in the world so i wanted to ask that question to mylotters, what do you think about male to male and female to female marriages? do you think that its acceptable or unacceptable? even that its forbidden in many countries some countries started to allow it, for me as a normal person i think that its acceptable, because its not their fault they born like that and they just feel the same things and emotions to the person that he/she is with like normal people i think forbidding it is really against their freedom they are not committing crime, well of course for countries they are committing crime but what i generally think is its like blaming them for the something they can not choose, so what are your opinions i would be glad to hear happy mylottings

Hi skenthal Well, all I can say that it's certainly not normal. Marriage is to reproduce. So, when the purpose is denied, certainly it can't be said a normal behaviour. Honestly speaking I won't want my son to marry a man.

Hi all Thanks for replies. Anyway, I don't think 'marriage for reproducing' is a very funny idea. Anyway. 1. Those who are childless, I don't think that they didn't want to have a kid when they went for marriage. Yes, there are some couples, they've married, but not interested to have a kid right now. Ok, whether you want to have a kid or not that's absolutely your choice. But why do we marry? Do you think those who are staying together are missing love and affection? Do you think all the couples are enjoying love in their marriage? 2. Yes, we can reproduce using other methods, but these facilities weren't available to people like me. To have a kid who knows his/her father's and mother's name, marriage is the only way. 3. other than reproduction, for everything else, can you tell me how stay together and marriage is conceptually different? 4. Of course, now 'kid outside marriage' is very common, that's why I may sound funny. No I didn't consider this new concept while I shared my views.

I think that there is nothing wrong with homosexual marriages. If they want to get married then they should have that right. They are not committing any crime.

this actually a very sensitive topic and i had many things in my mind to say or open up with i am very hesitant to speak so openly about this matter. specially, there are many middle eastern members around. i not saying that i'm going to speak anything against them, i had high regards and respect to their culture and i have some very good and polite friends. there are just some examples that would or might involve their culture and i don't want to be misconstrued for what i'm going to say. i wouldn't say that i am not in recognition for this kind of marriage, i believe if we do that, we are curtailing their civil rights and freedom to choose what's best for them. although we have sets of laws but every rule has it's own exemptions, i may say.

i know that in the first place, that's why i have placed a sort of disclaimer at my intro and wouldn't tackle much in the situation. i have only said so because you have mentioned in your post about it being a crime in certain countries and you know where that would lead us into. i may not know much or everything about your culture but i've been in middle east for more than 4.5 years already and that's successive years. it wasn't about that i am generalizing it but it's because of what you said that it's a taboo in some countries, you know what i'm sayin'?

*All that is said in this post have no intentions of personally attacking any religions or group of persons.* This topic amongst other related topics are a very controversial matter. You're right, people should be able to choose who they want to marry and how. Individuals shouldn't feel insecure or frightened that the law will prosecute them for doing something they desired. But you have to generally look into the situation and why it's considered "unlawful" or whatever they call it. One main reason is religion. A majority of individuals believe in religion and will do anything to keep what is said in their religion intact in the real world. For example, Christians encourage the marriage between man and woman because it's the only way to produce offspring. Because of this churches will defame those type of people.

i dont support or not support male to male and female to female marriages. i dont like to get involved with that kind of stuff because frankly i really don't care. if men like men, whatever i'm find with that. if women like women, whatever i'm find with that. some people really can't help it that they are like that and stuff because you can sometimes just be born like that. i'm not going to protest against it or not against it because like i said before i really don't care about that. i have better things to talk and think about.

I dont agree with this Gay or lesbian people getting married because i understand that they have faced some hard instance int heir life but they should not act like this by marrying girl with girl and boy with boy they have changed the totally blessing and purpose of GOD.. Eve was created for Adam and no EVER for EVE or ADAM for ADAM..

I can't see any good logical reason why it shouldn't be allowed. it doesn't hurt anyone, and it allows legal protection to people who are in love, just as with a straight couple. it has no impact on my life whatsoever if a man marries a man, or a woman a woman, but it makes their lives better. so if it makes someones life better, and makes no ones life worse, why deny them that right.

I think we should respect their decisions in life. Everybody have a freewill to choose and I think that's what makes this world a nice place to live in.

Well, im not against with these relationship coz' nowadays they are accepted by the society. As long as they did nothing wrong against God's will. An as long as they are happy with their life. I have friends like them and they are nice so they dont have to be judged.

I feel as though I should offer up some conservative point of view saying how the Bible says this and that... just for the sake of argument, lol. But I will say I have many family members and friends that are homosexual, and want to get married, and want to have kids. It's not something I intend to do with my life.. But I love and support them anyway.

Okay, until I figure out how to allow this type of content, I have to word this very carefully. Yes, I do believe it is an individuals right, who they marry. Being one, myself, of course.
