I have only ever gone on one blind date. I did not enjoy the date and the guy never asked me out again. Two of my cousins thought he and I would be good together I guess. He apparently is just as shy as I was at the time. He took me to see the movie "Jaws" on his motorcycle. I had only ridden a motorcycle one other time and it had one of those big "sissy bars" on the back of the seat...his didn't have anything there so I was pretty scared all the way to the next town to the movie and back. Not to mention that I had nightmares from watching that movie for a long time after that date.

I've never been on a blind date before, and as I've been in a very loving relationship for allmost 5 years now I hope never to be dating again and will grow old with my fiance. It does sound exciting but I don't think I'm a blind date type of girl. I would like to know a person first before going out on a date.

Thank you, every relationship is hard work but in the end it's all worth it. I guess that's the problem with lots of relationships that don't work out; people stop discussing and negotiating in a relationship and think it will work out for the best on it's own. You get back what you put into it, or so I believe. And I put a lot of love and attention into my relationship .

I have never been on a blind date. When I was single, I wouldn't have wanted to go on one. With my luck I would be fixed up with a looser! I do have a friend who met a guy online and when they finally did get together for a date, they had a blast. They ended up getting married just last year. I don't know if you would consider that a blind date, but kind of like one.

Closest thing I've had to a blind date was meeting a guy from online in person, though we showed pictures of each other first before we did so (that way we could recognize each other/know the other person wasn't a loser/something they didn't say they were). It went all right, but it wasn't particularly amazing or anything. I'm wary about the idea of blind dates, though; it seems to be more of a thing for the more adventurous types.
