Olympic Games is hotly going on, and gold medals are issued everyday. Definitely we are supposed to cheer for the athletes and their country. But do you really think gold medalists should be rewarded a bonus, a high one as 1 million or more for one gold medal? Do the athletes deserve this, or has our government just failed in reward system? Personally I think it is a bit over-rewarded? What's your point?

Getting a gold medal is a huge accomplishment, that's the real prize. If a large sum of money is an incentive in winning a gold medal then people might not just do it for the love of the sport or the glory of winning.
