which do you prefer..positive or negative?

which do you prefer? a friend who tells you positive comments which are lies? or a friend who tells you negative comments which are true? and why?

I prefer a friend who tell me negative comments beause it will help me to know my weaknesses and would give a chance to clear them.....so thats reason I like him Thanku Ganesh

Thanks for BR First !!! Yes infact a friend who can tell negatives about you is your true friend . Because most of the times we consider ourself perfect still we can not reach our goals . Only a true friend who can tell you sincerely about your negatives ,can help you realize your weaknesses, and you can overcome the same to reach your goals efficiently ....yes !!! i prefer the truth. the fact that my friends dont lie to me is important and of course i dont lie to them. even if what they/or i say sometimes sucks its still the truth and perhaps it would help that person in a way. that is if they are my good friends. if they are not that close to me then i really dont care that much and wouldnt really mind lying to them just so that i dont have to explain why i said what i said. does that make sense?

i cant really consider the one that tell lies a friend, offcourse ill pick a friend who tell the truth no matter how negative

I would rather a friend who told me negative comments things that are true, because if anyone would tell you the truth you would rather have your friend tell you the truth. Its best hearing it from your friends then from any body else.

you're right. it is better if you take it as a compliment. it will make you a better person. it helps you to improve yourself.
