Married By Elvis

Would you ever consider eloping to get married? Seems like more and more people are doing this. People go to Vegas and get married by Elvis, destination weddings, you name it. Do you think this takes the meaning out of your wedding day? I can see pros and cons about it, but personally I don't think I would have done it.

My husband and I were going to to do that until my mother found out that i was getting married.. But we pretty much did elope we did tell no one untill after we got married that is why we are have our wedding next year cause we didn't get to have the wedding that we wanted... The only people that were there when we got married was my husband and myself and my parents... His parents did really get to come cause they were in another state..

I don't think it takes away from the real thing you can always have the wedding at a later date... Thats how i feel about how i did it.. I told my husband that i would get married to you if you promise me this one thing i will get to walk down the aile in a white dress with my father on my side and he told me yes you will and he promised me..

My husband had discussed it before we got married. That maybe we should get eloped. But now after getting married, I am glad that we did not elope because it was so much fun planning. But if I were to elope I would not want Elvis involved, but I'm sure we would have went to Las Vegas to get married.
